KeymasterHi Fred,
WOW! Indeed, that query looks terrible. đ Let’s try to get to the bottom of this.
Do you possibly know when that query gets generated? My hunch is when the map view is loaded, trying to center the map. And the issue likely comes from the number of events / venues.
Can you share with me a database dump so I can do some investigation?
Thanks,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello again Stephen,
Thanks for reaching out!
For your second, import related issue, could you please share with me the URL you are trying to import from? I would like to run some tests. Thanks!
As for the first issue, do you know at what time / for what action that error messages gets generated?
Thanks,

KeymasterDoes this happen to all newly created recurring events or only to some? If only to some, is there a difference you can pinpoint?
Thx!

KeymasterHello Craig,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your issue.
I’m really sorry about the super long waiting time. We are receiving an unusually high number of requests in our forums in the last couple of days, so it takes a bit longer until we get to all of them. We try our best to answer them in a timely manner.
I’m really sorry about the issue you are having with the recurring event duplication. That is unusual. Can you please send me a screenshot of how that event is set up, what are the recurrence rules, so I can check if I can recreate it?
Thanks and looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Matthias
Thanks for getting back to me on that!
You are certainly not the only one using this and having this issue.
The bug is on high priority and as said a developer is already assigned to the case. Once a fix has been developed it needs to go through thorough testing to make sure that 1) it does indeed provide a fix for the issue; 2) we don’t introduce new bugs.
Please hang in there, we are working on getting this resolved as fast as we can. Once a fix is released you will definitely receive a notification here in the forums.
I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you and thanks for your continued patience!

KeymasterHey Peter,
Thanks for confirming the quotes. I’m also happy to hear that the published page is working well. Can we conclude that there is no issue on the front-end and this part of the issue is resolved?
As for the preview function I will need to check and investigate. Please allow me some time for that.
Regarding the map at the top of the editing screen, that is a known bug. It happens with Divi and some few other themes. I’ll add your thread to the bugticket and you’ll get a notification when the fix for that comes.

KeymasterHi Bastien,
Sorry for the silence, we got a bit busy. Nonetheless I managed to gather something you can try.
It looks like you have some code in place that does an alert() when the tab changes.
You could take advantage of that and once the venue tab is visible you could trigger this bit of JS:
jQuery( 'head' ).append( '<script type="text/javascript" src="https://www.nexustickets.com/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/resources/js/embedded-map.min.js"></script>' );So long as the venue tab is visible when that runs, it should magically make everything just happen.
Let me know if that helps you move forward.
Also, to let you know we have logged a ticket to improve our embedded-map.js to make it a little easier to resolve this kind of situation in future.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Andrew,
I’m sorry to hear about your issue and thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you.
I checked your site with Edge and I see what you mean.
I found some errors in the console. While these might not be related to the issue, it would be well worth to check them out and fix them. Here’s a screenshot.
As a first step please go through our conflict testing guide and check if that uncovers anything.
Let me know the results and we’ll take it from there.

KeymasterHello Peter,
Thanks for reaching out!
I tested this and it works well for me.
What I discovered that in the shortcodes you copied here you are using curly quotes (â) which usually cause trouble. In case it is like that on your website as well, then please correct that so straight (“) quotes. Like
[tribe_events view="map" category="cats" tribe-bar="false"]Let’s see if that helps.

KeymasterHallo Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out!
Do I understand you no longer need assistance with the original issue?
I checked those pages and all looks fine for me.
Let me know.

KeymasterHello Kathleen,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear about your issues. Let me help you solve this one.
I checked your site and I see the spinner. In the console I see an error message that says there is an error with one of the css files in your theme. (screenshot)
You say:
Reverted to Twenty-Sixteen theme. No change
Deactivated all plug-ins except the Event Calendar ones, No ChangeDid you try to do the 2 at the same time? I’m sorry, this is not clear at the moment.
Please also note that Events Calendar Category Colors v4.6.8 and Events Calendar Shortcode 1.7 are not developed by us. Please also deactivate those when testing and leave only The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro active.
Reg this:
Template overrides should be moved to the correct subdirectory: widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php is deprecated since version 3.2! Use pro/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php instead. This likely means that you have a ‘mini-calendar-widget.php’ file under:
wp-content/themes/[your-active-theme]/tribe-events/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php
This location for the widget has been changed. Please move this file to:
wp-content/themes/[your-active-theme]/tribe-events/pro/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php
4. Debug, under Javascript, I see the following:
This has something to do with your theme. Please turn to the theme developers with this issue if it persists.
The url suncityanthemhikingclub.com/#
The url is correct as it is. When clicked an ajax action is taken in the background so the new page of the mini calendar loads without reloading the whole page.
You say:
I have updated my theme (Minimaze Pro) and the above errors are now gone.
I still see some of the errors. Do you maybe have a test site where we can test this?
Cheers,
Andras -
