    Hello Cam,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry about the troubles you are having.

Unfortunately we are not able to merge user accounts. I still might be able to help you.

I can deactivate the license with the new account and create a new one in your normal account.

For this I would need the order number of your new purchase so I can see what I need to cancel and transfer. Once I have that I should be able to set you up.

Please note, I might not be able to give you the old license key, but will have to generate a new one.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hallo Lars,

Kein Problem, ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch. 😉

If you copy this snippet into your active theme’s functions.php file, that will remove the links from the venue name and the organizer name:

    https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/0d5718a259c0cf09df6c07dd1b9607eb

Let me know how that works out.

    Hi,

You can find more info on error messages on this page. Your case is #8.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/url-import-errors-event-aggregator/

(I just realized the url in the error message is broken.)

The error message in the log is generated when trying to fetch this source.

You should see all events data when visiting this url:

    https://rinkfinder.net/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events

It looks like something gets in the way. Can you possibly deactivate all plugins and switch to a default theme on the source site and check that url if you get the data? (Should look something like this.) This will help us eliminate the possibility of any of the other plugins / theme interfering with the TEC REST API.

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Ciao Alessandro,

Thanks for reaching out to us with your questions.

…to integrate Eventribe API into your plugin

I’m not quite sure what you mean by that. We have a premium plugin, Eventbrite Tickets that has everything in place to start selling Eventbrite tickets on your website with The Events Calendar. Already with the ‘Essentials’ pack.

If you would like to build your own solution with the Eventbrite API, that is also possible. For this though you will need to turn to the Eventbrite support team.

I want to add also the Facebook frame of “attending participants” into my imported events, is it possible or maybe already available into your plugin?

At the moment that is not part of the functionality of our plugins. You would need to create this yourself or hire a developer to do it. Or maybe there is already a plugin for that.

Event Aggregator only imports the key data of the events that are on Facebook and puts it in your calendar. So when visitors look at your calendar they don’t get the data from Facebook any more, they get it from your website / database.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hello James,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

I’m very happy to hear about paying attention to server space. Awesome!

Just like with regular WordPress posts, the images in the image library are not touched when an post / event is being trashed. I have some ideas why it’s done like that…

So normally you need to go into your media library and manually remove the images.

I did a quick google search as your request made me curious too. I found this post on the topic which you also might find helpful.

Delete Images from Media Gallery when Post moved to Trash

Note, that I haven’t tested it, so I cannot vouch for its workings. And I’m not sure how it handles the different image sizes that are created. Nonetheless it might be worth a try. And it is definitely recommended to create a full file and database backup before making any big changes.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Andras
