KeymasterHallo Matthias,
I understand your disappointment and I’m really sorry that a bug is still affecting your and your site.
Our team is more than willing and able to fix this issue, just like many others. We do try to address all issues in a timely manner. As you can imagine it is a difficult task to prioritize between the issues and reports we receive from our community.
I would even suggest to my client to pay one of your developers to fix it, even though this is clearly a bug on your side. If you like you can give me a quote for that.
Yes, this is a bug on our side and we will fix it as soon as possible. I will take the issue to QA team to see if we squeeze this one in still in January. I will let you know as soon as I have an answer.
Unfortunately we cannot take on development projects like this one. In case you need some help with a custom development in the future you can turn to this list of independent developers who are not affiliated with us.
We do appreciate you choosing our products and sticking with us for so long. I’ll still get back to you soon on the status of the fix.

Happy 2018!
I’m happy we could provide a bit of clarity on this.

KeymasterHi Christopher,
The url you shared uses the http protocol, but when I visit the site it switches to https automatically and tells me that the certificate could not be verified because the issuer is unknown. I will check with the EA team if that can cause an issue.
Did you recently switch to https?
If you can switch back to http for a test and check if that works that would help us move forward faster.

KeymasterHi Ryan,
Sorry to hear this still doesn’t work.
Do you get other emails from the website? For example when you create a new user or when you change a password? If you also don’t receive those emails then that needs to be fixed first.
Might be worth using an SMTP plugin for sending emails. These are usually much more reliable then the built-in function of WordPress.
To eliminate the possibility of any conflicts with other plugins and customizations the best would be to deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins and to switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen and insert only the BCC email customization into the functions.php file of that theme.
Could you give this a check?
A.

KeymasterHi Luis, happy 2018!
I checked the latest link you provided and I do not see the error. (screenshot)
Other than that I can only reconfirm what Barry said, that it is likely a result of the markup generated by Google, and we don’t have control over this.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

KeymasterHi Erez,
Happy 2018! Hope you had a great Christmas holiday!
The Events Calendar does not come with a Past Events widget, so likely it was developed by the Eventica team. I would suggest to get in touch with them regarding this.
Breaking from a series: yes, you need to create the entire series first.
Then when you hover over the single instances you will see something like this.
If you click on “Edit All” then you will edit the whole series.
If you click “Edit Single” that will break out that one event from the series.
If you click “Edit Upcoming” then you will break the series in two and can edit them as if they were two separate recurring event serieses.
Hope this helps.

KeymasterHey Tak,
The UID is used in imports from other sources, like Facebook and Google Calendar. It hasn’t been implemented for CSV import yet. I pitched the idea to one of the developers and he said it’s a good idea, would take couple hours of development. So now we just need to get support from management. 🙂
Recurring events are a tricky case. At the moment it is possible to import recurring events, but they will show up as separate events not recurring. The big challenge is that there are so many different rules you can set up (daily, weekly, once, exclusions, etc.) that it is difficult to import those in a reliable way looking at only the event dates and times. This is something that is on our long term roadmap, but I can’t say when we will get to this.

Thanks,

KeymasterHi April,
That is a viable solution. I just checked that on my local install and it did work.
What didn’t work for you?

KeymasterHi M,
Thanks for the question!
That is not possible out of the box, but you should be able to do that with a plugin like this.
After changing the post type you might need to edit it to set up the event date and time at least.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHello Chris,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry about this issue.
Does the import work
- if you do a manual import?
- if you delete and set up a new scheduled import?
Could you share the url where you are trying to import from?
Please also share your system information with me. Thanks!
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Gesine,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Yes, you are correct, you will need Event Aggregator to be able to import events from a Google Calendar, even if you only use just one source.
The plan you choose will auto-renew after a year. Of course you also have the option to disable the auto-renewal if you would rather like to manually renew your license.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Andras -
