Hi,
My license expired some weeks ago, I renewed it on Friday and after this renewal the scheduled import from an other URL doesn’t work any more.
The status says I’m connected to the https://ea.theeventscalendar.com/ server, cronjob is activated. I haven’t changed anything in the meantime, didn’t update any plugins or anything else, so it should definitely work.As I see some other customers have the same problem, are there any server issues? Or do you have a clue what else could be the problem?
Many thanks in advance and best regards
ChrisDecember 19, 2017 at 1:56 pm #1409162AndrasKeymasterHello Chris,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m sorry about this issue.
Does the import work
- if you do a manual import?
- if you delete and set up a new scheduled import?
Could you share the url where you are trying to import from?
Please also share your system information with me. Thanks!
Cheers,

January 9, 2018 at 3:52 am #1421147AndrasKeymasterHi Christopher,
The url you shared uses the http protocol, but when I visit the site it switches to https automatically and tells me that the certificate could not be verified because the issuer is unknown. I will check with the EA team if that can cause an issue.
Did you recently switch to https?
If you can switch back to http for a test and check if that works that would help us move forward faster.
Cheers,

thanks for your support, we resolved the problem.
The server infrastructure is not in our hands, so we had to get in touch with them. Unfortunately they upgraded the certificate of the domain to a newer version, but still had an old coding file on the server. This caused the blocking of extern requests – happend just on the same day I renewed the license.
They upgraded the file as well and now everything works again!Best regards
