KeymasterHi Tim,
Thanks for sharing those feeds.
I gave them a check. There is no timezone defined neither for the full feed, nor for the events themselves. In this case the events will be imported as UTC timezone.
We have a snippet that can help you with adjusting the timezone on import. Copy it into your theme’s functions.php file, set it up for your needs and it should do the trick.
https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/c895e4a7755055c18148b5bbd482c1dd
You will need to adjust the settings at the bottom in this part:
modify_imported_event_timezones(
'https://domain.com/events/main-calendar.ics/',
'America/New_York'
);Change your feed url. If you set it to null then it will be applied to all import feeds.
Change the timezone. Although I haven’t tested it with ‘UTC-5’ it should work.A note on timezones: if you have your WordPress timezone (Settings > General) set as “UTC-5”, then you might get some time discrepancy when DST kicks in. In this case having the timezone set to “America/New_York” (or whatever your timezone is) can be the solution, as the city-based timezones do follow the DST changes automatically.
Let me know how that works out.

KeymasterHappy to hear all seems to be working fine!
I will leave the thread still open so you can get back to me after you received feedback. Keeping my fingers crossed. ๐

KeymasterHello Dean,
Thanks for getting back to me!
I fully understand your fear or messing something up. I’ve been there too. It will all get better with practice.
If I may recommend, check out some WordPress tutorial videos to get a better understanding of the system. That will make you feel more comfortable managing the site and will make it less stressful. (Here are one two sites where there are plenty of tutorials for free.)
Also, it is recommended to have a backup solution in place. If you have a backup, then you can always go back to that if something goes wrong. There are a number of free and premium plugins for this. UpDraftPlus is a good free one.
Having a test site is also good, if you want to play around checking out stuff.
and if i deactivate Event Tickets? will that
delete all the items already done?No, absolutely not. If you deactivate the plugin, then all the data will still remain in your database, but it will not show up on the front-end for the visitors. Once you activate the plugin again, they will show up.
Thanks for sharing that screenshot. Based on that I see that you are using the Events Manager plugin, which is not developed by us and we cannot provide support for it as we don’t know how it works in the background. For issues with the plugin you will need to get in touch with the plugin’s developer.
As an alternative you can give our plugin The Events Calendar a test drive to see if that fits your needs. In case you have any issues with that we will be able to support you.
And yes, you are still eligible for support for Event Tickets Plus. ๐ If it turns out the issue is with those I’m happy to help you further.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi djrs,
So it seems that happens with all the events.
Could you send me a full database dump of your site so I can dig into it a bit?
You might not be able to upload it here. In that case you can share it via any cloud service and paste the link here in a private reply.
Also please note that email attachments don’t come through to the forums. I would kindly like to ask you to log in and upload them here directly.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi Stephanie,
The ‘Other URL’ source uses a separate set of setting for limiting the imports. You can find this at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Imports page. For “Other URL” these settings will always take precedence.
By default the limit is set to 1 month, so that could very well cause this. Check the setting and adjust it higher.
Also check the setup of your scheduled import, whether it has a starting date set. (screenshot)

KeymasterHey Marcos,
You are doing everything right with the template override.
The snippet you will need to copy into your theme’s (child theme’s) functions.php file and not into the template override. I’m sorry, I left out this information before.
If you don’t do any other modifications to the email, only these buttons with the snippet, then you will not need the template override at all.
If however you want to style the buttons, then you do. You will need to do the styling with CSS somewhere around the top of the file.
Waiting to hear your results.

KeymasterHi Nikolas,
Thanks for getting back to me on all those questions. Much appreciated!
But You see the โsold outโ /โAusverkauftโ too?
No. I see “12 available” on both the event and the organizer page.
I have 2 things in mind that you can try.
First is, remove the organizer from the event first, so it doesn’t have an organizer. The go and edit the organizer and just hit the ‘Update’ button so it gets a fresh save in the database. Then go back to the event and add the organizer to it. Check if this solves it.
If the above doesn’t work, then since this looks to be a single issue, the easiest would be to either create a new organizer and assign that to the event, or create a new event and assign the organizer, or create both as new. If the above doesn’t work, then this would be the fastest resolution of the issue.
Under Divi Theme I choose Blank-Page as Site template and the sidebar is on every event and trainer page.
I hear ya. Go to Events > Settings > Display tab and choose ‘Default Events Template’ as the Event Template. That should make the sidebar disappear.
Let me know how all that works out.

KeymasterHa LaVonne,
Happy to hear it helped.
There might be some themes which do, I’m not quite sure. There are a number of themes out there which integrate well with our plugins, though I don’t know their detailed settings. We have an article that gives you a nice roundup. Hope this helps.

KeymasterHello Cynthia,
Thanks for reaching out! That is a great question there!
Yes, you are right. The ‘if’ clause also needs to be changed.
Here is the full modified snippet for reference. I tested it and should work with the current versions.

KeymasterCiao,
A colleague of mine was kind enough to take a look at this customization.
He came up with the following snippet. Copy it into your functions.php and check if it does the trick.
function modify_month_query( $query ) {
global $wpdb;
$query = str_replace(
"$wpdb->posts.post_status IN('publish',",
"$wpdb->posts.post_status IN('publish','draft',",
$query
);
remove_filter( 'query', 'modify_month_query' );
return $query;
}
function listen_for_month_query( $passthru ) {
add_filter( 'query', 'modify_month_query' );
return $passthru;
}
function unrestrict_month_view_post_statuses( $args ) {
$args['post_status'] = 'any';
return $args;
}
add_filter( 'tribe_events_month_get_events_in_month', 'listen_for_month_query' );
add_filter( 'tribe_events_month_daily_events_query_args', 'unrestrict_month_view_post_statuses' );Cheers,

KeymasterHi Sabrina,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Before we dive in I would like to make 2 notes:
The post2post plugin is not developed by us so we cannot really give support for it. You’re best bet for that would be the plugin developer.
According to our support policy we usually do not provide support for customizations.
I will still try to help you out and give you at least some pointers on how this could work, but you will need to do the heavy lifting. I cannot promise a full solution to this.
As a first, please share with me your system information.
Can you please describe in detail what you would like to achieve with the connection and what you have done so far? The more details the better because I’m not familiar with post2post at all.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi micdevin,
Welcome to the forums!
I’m really sorry about the “500 error” issue. That’s a bummer. Let me try to help you out.
A 500 error can be a result of a wide range of things, mostly server related.
As a very first step I would like to point out that Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus are our plugins and we do provide support for them here.
Events Manager however is not developed by us and we don’t provide support for it. In case you are having issues with Events Manager, then I recommend you to get in touch with the developers of that plugin.
Here are some things you can check:
- Open the Console in the web developer tools and try to do an action that usually causes a 500 error. Do you see any errors popping up in the console?
- Please go through our conflict testing guide and see if that uncovers anything. Here I would first recommend deactivating ET and ET+ and check if the issue still exists. Afterwards go on with the guide.
- Try downgrading to a previous version of ET and ET+ and check if you are still getting the error.
Are you hosted onย Linux or on a Windows server?
Also, here is an article that gives you more details about the nature of this error and what other actions you can try to fix it. Please go through it and let me know if any of it helps.
Thanks and cheers,
Andras -
