    Hi Ralf!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us!

    First, please let me note that we are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like that.

    That said, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as much possible.

    I’ve just tried setting up a notification using Better Notification and it seems only possible to send to the event author, which in some cases it is the same as the organizer.

    However, I don’t see a built-in setting to send an email to the event Organizer.

    We do have a snippet you can use to send a copy of the ticket email to the event organizer:

    https://gist.github.com/vicskf/c807167bd0a89a13af7f9ad8d351d184

    You can use it as a starting point to create some custom coding to achieve what you are looking for.

    I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Andrea!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us and for sending those screenshots!

    I’d be happy to help you with the troubleshooting. First, I would need some more information about the issues so I can try to reproduce on my end.

    Problem #1 – Could you please send us a screenshot of the ticket editor when editing the event? and if possible, a link to the event so we can have as reference.

    Problem #2 – This can happen in some occasions:

    • When the amount of tickets is increased on the cart page, as there are no fields to as for the data
    • When a user starts payment (goes to PayPal payment page for example), but cancels the payment first
    • The user puts the ticket in the cart, but finishes the purchase much later and the attendee data ‘expires’ until then
    • If the catalog visibility for the ticket product is set to visible, then you can buy a ticket from the shop page

    Do you think this could have happened in your case?

    Problem #3 – This seems odd and likely there could be a conflict with your theme, another plugin or even some custom code. To make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.

    We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.

    Please let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Douglas!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    We are not aware of any problems regarding iOS 11.

    I am getting blocked by Wordfence if I try to access your site. Probably because you are implementing some IP limitation. I think this could probably be related to the problem you are having in the iOS device.

    I’d suggest you try disabling this IP limitation and see if it works. If it doesn’t, then it could be a conflict with your theme, another plugin or even some custom code. So, to make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.

    When coming back, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Joseph!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us and for taking the time to report this.

    I’m sorry to hear you are having this issue.

    Unfortunately, I can confirm this is an issue that we are already aware of that is affecting users using an object cache system.

    I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.

    The workaround for most users is to disable object caching on their sites. I noticed you may be using WordPress.com hosting, In which case I’d suggest you get in touch with them and see if they can disable this for you.

    If that is not an option, you could also downgrade to Event tickets 4.6.3.1 where the issue is not present. We have a guide to downgrade a plugin > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

    Please bear in mind that the tickets do actually get created, but they simply don’t show up for the event; so after disabling the cache, previously created tickets will show up in the events.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Hi Ryan!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us!

    As you may already know, we are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions. That said, I’d be happy to point you into the right direction as much possible.

    If you want to customize the default map view to show your venues for past events, then I’d recommend you take a look at the following thread where there are some examples on how to accomplish just that > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/show-both-past-and-future-event-pins-on-map-view/

    On the other hand, you can also create a page where you can use the tribe_events shortcode to show a map view and use the “date” attribute to specify a date in the past > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

    Additionally, let me point you to the following extension that may be of help if you need to show a list of venues > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/list-venues-and-organizers-shortcodes/

    I hope it helps. Let me know if any follow up question.

    Hi Jaime!

    Thanks for getting in touch with us!

    Unfortunately, this is a known issue we are already working on, in which the attendee list will not show up updated information about the check-in status immediately after a change, taking some time to reflect accurate information.

    I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.

    In the meantime, we’ve found a workaround you can use to lower the transient expiration time so that is updates the attendees information quicker.

    You’ll have to paste the following snippet of code into your theme’s functions.php file to make it work:

    add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_attendees_admin_expire', 'custom_tickets_attendees_expire' );
    add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_attendees_expire', 'custom_tickets_attendees_expire' );

    function custom_tickets_attendees_expire () {
       // number of seconds
       return 10;
    }

    That will update the attendees list every 10 seconds. If you want to disable the transient, you can set it to return 0 (zero), but this may not be recommended if you have too many attendees for an event.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Hi Mathew,

    I’m sorry for a bit of delay in getting back.

    Yes, that fixes the problem and I was able to import events from the calendar.

    Did it work for you too? Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Victor
