    Dear Developers,
    Since few months ago we have experienced some problems with our events app, this situation is now critical to our online store. Please see points below:

    Problem #1 The capacity of our events is for 25 attendees. (see image 1) It says there are 21 tickets sold, but in the attendees list is showing only 19, but the correct number of tickets is 23, two of those do not appear on the sold list

    Problem #2 One of the attendees on the list that shows 19 does not have a “Name” on the list, even thought this is a requirement to buy the ticket. It should not let someone to buy a ticket without a name. One person can buy more then one ticket, that’s why they should register the name.

    Problem #3 (Image 2) There are two tickets that do not appear on the list, one of them has a duplicate order number (Order ID #22957) two different customers have the same ticket order for different events, this is a major concern.

    After doing the update our tickets are showing random numbers on the list, can we sort them in numeric order like before? (image 3)
    These problems are causing major issues on our store because we are selling more tickets than the capacity that we have. Please advice at the earliest convenience.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us and for sending those screenshots!

    I’d be happy to help you with the troubleshooting. First, I would need some more information about the issues so I can try to reproduce on my end.

    Problem #1 – Could you please send us a screenshot of the ticket editor when editing the event? and if possible, a link to the event so we can have as reference.

    Problem #2 – This can happen in some occasions:

    • When the amount of tickets is increased on the cart page, as there are no fields to as for the data
    • When a user starts payment (goes to PayPal payment page for example), but cancels the payment first
    • The user puts the ticket in the cart, but finishes the purchase much later and the attendee data ‘expires’ until then
    • If the catalog visibility for the ticket product is set to visible, then you can buy a ticket from the shop page

    Do you think this could have happened in your case?

    Problem #3 – This seems odd and likely there could be a conflict with your theme, another plugin or even some custom code. To make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.

    We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.
