    Hi,

I’m testing out a new Google calendar that will be used for events on the website. There are three events so far, and all of them have the link to the event website in the description, but only one of them seems to be working properly. The one that’s working shows the URL of the event website and it’s clickable. One of the other events shows the link text, but it’s not an active link and you can’t click it. The third event shows the text to the link to the event website when I look in the back end in the Event editor, but when I look at the Event on the front end of the site, it’s rendered as a block quote with the word “Home” being the clickable link to the event website.

I can’t figure out what is going on with this. The website right now is at test2.kgshultz.com and the list of events is at https://test2.kgshultz.com/speaking_events/.

Is there a better way to get the event website imported than putting it in the description of the Google Calendar event?

    Hi Matthew!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you with this topic.

Could you please share with us, in a private reply if you’d like, the Google Calendar URL that you are using to import events from? I will run some tests with it on my end to see what I can find.

    Thanks,
    Victor

There is nothing in the calendar. I’ll add an event. Tell me if that
    fixes it.

    Hi Mathew,

I’m sorry for a bit of delay in getting back.

Yes, that fixes the problem and I was able to import events from the calendar.

Did it work for you too? Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Victor
