    Hi Carole!

I’m sorry for the delay here.

While we cannot commit to a date for when this will be addressed, a fix for this issue is scheduled to be included in our next maintenance release in two weeks approximately.

We apologise for this inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience in the meantime.

    Hi Gabriel!

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear enough. You can add this code in your active theme’s functions.php file.

Let me know if it works for you.

    Hi Wayne!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I’m sorry you are experiencing that issue.

I’m not really sure how the Easy WP SMTP plugin works, but Event Tickets makes use of the default wp_mail() function to send the emails, so any change made to this default WordPress function, either with some custom code or via a plugin, is really dependant on that side of things to work.

Are you not able to send any other emails with your WordPress intallation or is it only the Ticket email which isn’t working? What happens if you deactivate the Easy WP SMTP plugin? Does the ticket email get sent?

Let us know about it and we’ll try to help as much possible.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Sarah!

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that.

I tried to see the filter bar in your site and it doesn’t seem to be appearing in the desktop view either.

I am mostly sure this is a theme or even a plugin conflict of some sort, so could you please switch to a default theme and see if it changes anything?

If it doesn’t, then please try deactivating all other plugins and following the complete steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Mark!

Let me help you with that issue.

First, please try flushing your permalinks by going to your wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes. Does it change anything?

If it doesn’t, this could be a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow down the problem please go through the complete steps in this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let me know if you find anything during that process.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Mark!

I’m sorry you are having that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.

Could you please let me know about this issue? What exactly is not working on mobile browsers? Which browsers are you experiencing this issue in?

It would be great if you could send us a screenshot of the issue. This way we’ll try to reproduce it on our end and find the source of it.

Also, I know you marked the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

Did you notice any difference when switching to a default theme? How about when deactivating all other plugins? What happens if you deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme at the same time? Do you notice any difference then?

    Let us know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Tim!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you with that.

You can certainly achieve that with some custom coding. We don’t recommend you alter the plugin’s code because you’ll loose all the changes when updating the plugins.

I know one our team members is currently working on building an extension that will add a field in the Tickets settings where you’ll be able to put a custom URL to redirect users after they RSVP.

I will reach out to him and see if I can get you something already working for you to use.

If that’s not possible, I will at least point you in the right direction on achieving something like that.

    Please hang in there.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Raina!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that.

Meetup events don’t have images assigned to them, so importing them with Event Aggregator won’t assign an image to the event in your calendar.

You can only import events from the sources described here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

Could you please share with us the websites/URLs where you are not being able to import events from? This way we’ll run some tests on our end and see if we can find any issues.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Mark!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you with that.

There is no straight away method to make that happen. You would have to make a template override of the single-event.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month/

We have a great article that will guide you on customizing our templates here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

    Hi Dave!

I can see you are using the tribe_get_organizer() function to print the href attribute. That function will return the organizer name.

Try using the tribe_get_organizer_website_url() helper function instead.

You can find out all the available Organizer Functions for use in the templates in the organizer.php file located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

    Hi Benny!

Thanks for coming back with the error logs.

I can’t relate any of the error logs being something directly coming from our plugins.

Are you making any template customization for any of the community add form templates?

Just to make sure there is no plugin or theme conflict, could you please go through the steps in our testing for conflicts guide and see if you still get the error? Please start by switching to a default theme like twenty seventeen.

If that doesn’t clear the error, then proceed by deactivating the plugins one at a time to see if any changes.

If you see no difference when testing for conflicts, we’ll have to make some deeper troubleshooting.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi David!

Thanks for clearing that our and for sending the screenshot.

It seems your EA settings are fine, so that shouldn’t be a problem here.

It’s good to know you are able to manually run your scheduled imports. We’ve been having some other users reporting similar issues with their scheduled imports and we will be releasing some fixes and improvements for this in our next maintenance release during this week.

I will set this thread as “Pending fix” and link it to the report so we’ll let you know as soon as the fix is released.

If you experience issues with Facebook imports, you could try refreshing your connection by going to Events > Settings > APIs tab and clicking “Refresh your connection to Facebook”.

It does state that all previous events have been updated although no changes have been made

This will depend on the Event Update Authority settings you have selected for your imports. You can learn more about it here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

I apologise for this inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience in the meantime.

    Hi Steven!

I’m super glad to hear it’s working now. Thanks for your continued help and patience while we worked on this together.

I’m not entirely sure PHP version is related to this issue but I’m sure you’ll find the benefit of your site being more efficient in terms of server resources.

We use cURL in our EA server but it shouldn’t be a problem if you had a different version of it as WordPress handles this to whatever wp_remote_post and wp_remote_get defaults to in your server.

Regarding the licenses, I’ve just checked and they seem to be fine and active, so you should be seeing your 2 newest EA licenses active:

    • 200 imports license (ending in 49ae)
    • 100 imports license (ending in 6fad)

Let me know if you see any different or have any other questions.

    Victor

    Hi Rodrigo!

Thanks for sending out the error logs.

Because there was mention of “failed to open dir: Permission denied”, please ask your web host to correct the permissions for your server.

    Please reference:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
Please let me know how this goes for you.
