MemberHi Roy!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you troubleshoot that issue.
Just to confirm I understand the issue correctly, did the events stopped showing up after updating Events Calendar PRO or after activating it?
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site. We also encourage to make a full <u>backup</u> of your site, both database and files so in case something goes wrong you can always restore your site.
Do you have a dev/staging site where we can see the issue?
Could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try navigating to the site where the events are not showing a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Additionally, this could be related to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.
Thanks,

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that issue.
I tried reproducing that in my own local installation but failed to do so. Could you please share the screen recording with us so I can try to follow the exact same steps ?

MemberHi There!
Thanks so much for taking your time to report this and for giving so many details of what you’ve found so far.
I have indeed been able to locate a report for this issue, so our developers are already aware of it. I will set this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report. I will also make sure to pass your findings along to the developers. We will notify you once a fix is released for this issue.
For the moment, it should not affect any functionality. If you happen to find that anything breaks, please let us know about it.
We appreciate your help and patience while we work on this.

MemberHi James!
Thanks for reaching out to us. I’m really sorry you are experiencing those issues. Let me help you with the troubleshooting.
Let me first note that renewing your licenses should have no effect on the plugins functionalities. If any differences show up, these might be due to updating the plugins to a newer version. Have you recently updated your plugins before the issues started happening?
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site. all my available tickets disappeard off the website
Are the tickets no longer viewable when on the edit event screen? or do they just don’t show up in the frontend of your site? Please let us know about this as much as you can. You can share with us a screenshot of what you see and a link to the events where you are experiencing this.
When coming back, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Regarding the attendees list, could you please try checking the Show attendees list on event page option for an event, then save and then unchecking it and save again? Does it show the attendees then?
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Ash!
Happy to help here 🙂
Yes, we provide support for all license holders. You can learn more about what type of support we provide here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
We also have a pretty cool 30-days refund policy you should know about > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Hope it helps! Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Heinz!
Thanks for coming back with you system information.
I made a few tests replicating your site’s environment and I could reproduce the issue you are having.
It seems to be a conflict with PHP 7.1 (which your site is currently running on) and The Events Calendar: List Venues/Organizers Shortcodes plugin. I will reach out to the team to see if we can fix this and come back to let you know.
Just to set expectations right, we do not actively maintaining this helper plugin and we are not able to provide much support for conflicts or errors caused by our helper plugins.
In the meantime, the only workaround I’ve found so far is downgrading to PHP version 7.0.
Let me know if you have any questions.

MemberHi Hassan!
Thank you for your patience.
Please try using the following snippet instead of the other. It might need some testing.

Please let us know if it works for your site.

MemberHi Harvey!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that.
You might have accidentally hidden the metabox from the edit events page.
You can customize which of these metaboxes to show by going to the Screen Options tab in the top right corner of the screen. Please make sure you check The Events Calendar box.
Does it show up? Let me know about it.

MemberHi Uwe!
Thanks for getting in touch. Let me try to help you with this topic.
Unfortunately, there is no built-in functionality to order the additional fields in the backend. You can, however, modify the order in which they show up in the frontend of the single event view by customizing the templates using one of the methods described in our themer’s guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Will that help? Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

MemberHi Heinz!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
I could not reproduce the Warning message you are getting. Could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
[list_venues] show me all venues regardless if there is an current event or not. Would be more usefull to show only these venues (and hopefully organizers) with upcoming events
Unfortunately, this is not a built-in functionality of the plugin. If you were to accomplish that, it would involve custom coding.
Let me know how that goes
Thanks,

MemberHi Esther!
Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you with that issue.
First, please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins. Remember you can always download our plugins from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
If you still experience this issue, please share with us the Google Calendar URL where you are importing events from so we can run some tests on our end.
if we change something on our google calendars, is it supposed to automatically update onto our site?
Changes made in your Google Calendar will update after re-running the import and will apply update according to the Event Update Authority settings > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/#update-authority
When coming back, please share with us your latest system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.
Thanks,

MemberHi Ashley!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
I think you might be interested in our Event Aggregator service > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
With it, you can import events from a Google Calendar by using the calendar feed (this is the ICS url you can obtain by going into the Google Calendar settings). If you have access to multiple gCal feeds, then you will be able to import them separately and make their events show up in your site.
Let me point you to the following article about importing events from a feed or URL using Event Aggregator > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/
I hope it helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to help.

MemberHi Keith!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with this topic.
I think you could modify the snippet from that other tread to use the ‘wpseo_metadesc’ filter instead of ‘wpseo_title’ and modify the meta description to add the date in it.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
