    Kathy,

I’m sorry to hear that that didn’t work for you. The only other thing I can think to suggest as a workaround would be to close the purchase timeframe for the existing tickets, and create new ones to replace, but with the correct capacity.

Does that work in your case?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the ticket stock. This is actually a known issue, and is currently being worked on.

I will attach this thread to the bug ticket, and as soon as the fix is released, someone will follow up with you here to let you know it has been released.

I have heard some reporting success to correct the ticket stock information by editing the ticket, and saving without actually changing anything. Then save the event and see if the stock information is correct when the page reloads.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks so much for reporting the issue! Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Hi Simone!

Thanks for reaching out! I will try to help with your questions.

The Pro version does add support for “recurring events” which would allow you to add multiple distinct times to the same event. However, there is no way to add different information in the descriptions for the separate event times without breaking it out into separate events. It sounds like the best option would be to create a separate event for each time, which doesn’t require the Pro plugin. Or you could just add the different prices in the description.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have further questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the update. I will help you get this sorted.

The solution is to update the Events Calendar plugin first, before updating the Events Calendar Pro.

Can you give that a shot? You may also want to update the rest of the MT plugins to the latest versions as well, just to make sure there’s no other conflicts.

Let me know if that helped, or if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Jonah,

Thanks for the additional information. I did just test this, and things are working without issue on my end.

I would recommend going through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide to make sure the issue is not being caused by your theme or one of your plugins.

Do you have a staging site? I would like to see this happening with the Twenty Seventeen theme enabled and all other plugins disabled. If you do not have a staging site, you could use the WP Staging plugin to quickly generate one. If you do go this route, please enable the generated site to be visible without being logged in in the plugin settings.

If you could share the staging URL with me, I’ll take a look. Can you also share your full system information with me?

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there,

For the main calendar pages, you can use the “.post-type-archive-tribe_events” class.

For the single events pages, you can use “.single-tribe_events”

All the pages also use “.tribe-events-style-theme” with your current settings, so you could use that to target everything with one selector.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi Jonah,

It would really help me to troubleshoot if you could describe your problem.

All I can gather from the thread you linked to is that there was a problem with the filterbar when using certain types of controls. I have the latest versions of the plugins, and I cannot replicate any issues with it.

So, if you please let me know:
    * The steps you are taking
    * The expected outcome
    * The actual outcome

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

Can you try something for me? Try editing the tickets and saving without actually changing anything. This has been reported to correct the stock in other cases. You may have to do this to each ticket since they are sharing capacity, but see if just saving one does the job for all of them.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Thanks for the additional information Mark.

I removed the scheduled import from my test site, so I’m not sure. While investigating your issue, we found that even our internal tool for inspecting imports that have been processed by our Aggregator server completely breaks when trying to look at these particular imports that are failing for you.

It’s obviously something that occurs only when the event is scheduled. You may need to manually run the import until our engineers can find the problem. We will let you know as soon as we find the issue.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Thank you so much for all of that information!

It turns out that others are experiencing similar issues. I’ve attached this thread to the bug ticket, and I’m going to mark it as “pending fix.” Once this fix is completed, someone will follow back up with you here to let you know. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a timeline of when the fix will be released, but it is being actively worked on.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Yes, sorry I was mistaken. You can indeed use Tribe Commerce without Events Tickets Plus.

    Hi Steve!

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear of your frustration with the license notifications. I will try to help you get this sorted.

If you use our plugin for one sub-site only, you don’t need to upgrade to a Multisite License. If you are seeing a notification about upgrading, you can ignore the message. We are working to improve these notifications and functionality. Additionally, be aware that you may not receive alerts when updates are available. When an update is available, you will need to visit your account downloads page to manually update the plugin.

Regarding your Aggregator license: it appears that you already have our top tier for the number of imports that can be run every day. Are you really running more than 1000 unique imports per day? Note that this number refers to the number of imports, not the number of events brought in by the imports. How many sites are you using aggregator on? If more than one site, you could purchase an additional Aggregator license if you need more than 1000 imports per day. You can use each license on up to 10 sites.

Hope that helps! Please let me know if you still have questions about any of this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! I will try to help with your questions.

Breadcrumbs – Is this being added within your theme template? Which template are you using in Events > Settings > Display > “Events template”? What happens if you switch to “Default Page Template?” Does the bar with the breadcrumbs show on the event pages?

Category Widgets – Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with the Widgets Options plugin. You may need to contact them or post a question in the WordPress support forums for their plugin to see how it works and if there is any way to control things by post type. My suggestion would be to create a separate sidebar and add a conditional in your template to only show on the event categories, then add only the widgets you want to show there to that sidebar.

Hope that helps! Let me know if have more questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    OK, thanks for the confirmation.

Can you explain what you mean by “only free versions of plugins were used, not pro versions”?

In order for the ticket functionality to work, you must be using Events Tickets Plus, which is a premium (paid) plugin.

    Thanks,
    Sky

    Hi again,

Thanks for providing that. It looks like something is adding that content to “the_content” filter. Themes and plugins can attach content to that filter, before or after the content. Typically, they would target a particular post type, category etc and use a conditional to determine whether the content should be added on a given page.

Unfortunately, just about every template is going to use “the_content” so you would have to find out where the action is being added, and hopefully there is a way to remove and then recreate it with the logic you need. But this will require a little PHP and knowledge of the WordPress actions api. You might try temporarily switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme and/or disable plugins one by one until you figure out what is adding this content, and then look at the settings for that theme or plugin. Also worth checking in your child theme’s functions.php file to see if it’s being added there.

Also, when choosing “default events template” the image still shows up?

    Thanks,
    Sky
