We advertise our tours on other websites and when we take a booking through these websites we need to update the amount of tickets available on our website. If we have not sold any tickets for the event on our website then updating the amount of tickets available is not an issue. However if we have already taken bookings through our website then when we want to update the amount of tickets avaliable it seems to get confused.

For example we have 8 tickets available for a tour and we have taken 2 bookings through our website leaving 6 available. We then take another 4 bookings through a different website and when we go to update the availability on our website it doesnt work. We change it to say there are only 2 tickets available but it will then show the event is sold out. I assume this is because the system thinks there are 2 tickets available minus the 2 which we have sold through the website leaving 0 tickets which is what it shows. I then go back into the system and choose 4 tickets available assuming this will then show 2 tickets available on our website but it will show 4 tickets available. I cannot work out why it is doing this.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and is there a way of adding bookings from other websites without confusing the system?

    Hi there!

I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the ticket stock. This is actually a known issue, and is currently being worked on.

I will attach this thread to the bug ticket, and as soon as the fix is released, someone will follow up with you here to let you know it has been released.

I have heard some reporting success to correct the ticket stock information by editing the ticket, and saving without actually changing anything. Then save the event and see if the stock information is correct when the page reloads.

Let me know if that works for you.

Thanks so much for reporting the issue! Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
