KeymasterJens,
I do not know of any TEC customization developers personally. I did Google it, and there were several sites offering TEC Customization. However, having no experience with any of them, I’m reluctant to make any recommendations.
Thanks for reaching out to us, and good luck with the customization. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi Shane,
This appears to be a duplicate of https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/shortcodes-placement/.
I will paste the relevant parts of my response from that ticket in here.
To rename the main events page, navigate in the dashboard to Events > Settings > “General” tab. You can rename the events page name and slug by editing the “Events URL slug” field.
The rest of your requests will all need to be handled by creating a custom template. Check out our themer’s guide for information on how to approach that.
Let me know if this answers your questions, or if you have any others.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi David,
We are limited in the amount of support we can provide for customizations, but I will try to get you pointed in the right direction.
Request #1: It sounds like you got that sorted with some CSS.
Request #2: The default list view shows the featured image and excerpt as you are describing. You can see an example on our Calendar Demo page here: https://wpshindig.com/events/list/
Regarding custom templates. To create a custom template, you need to copy the template into your child theme, not move it. In addition, it seems you are looking in the wrong place for the templates. Please see our Themer’s Guide for instructions on creating custom templates. Once you have copied the template you want to modify into your child theme’s “tribe-events” folder, you can modify it by moving parts around or commenting them out.
The shortcode will use the same templates as the default events views. To modify the list view, you will want to copy one of the templates from wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list directory. Most likely, the “single-event.php” template.
Does this answer your questions? Let me know!
Thanks,

KeymasterMike,
Yep! Category is one of the attributes that will work in any view.

KeymasterBenjamin,
I apologize for the confusion. We are limited in the amount of support we can provide in the “pre sales” forum. If you have purchased one of our premium plugins such as the Events Calendar Pro, you will get a higher level of support by posting in the proper forum using the email address that is registered to your products.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/
We handle support for the free version of the Events Calendar on the WordPress support forums. Being for non paying users, we unfortunately can’t provide as quick of a response time over there, but we do pay attention and devote resources to the questions posted.
Regarding the extensions: we keep an archive of useful customizations provided by our community and team members that come up as people find ways to extend our official plugins. These extensions are not part of our official plugin lineup, and don’t get the same attention as our primary products do. However, as I said, we do want to know when there is an issue with one of them.
If possible, can you enable the plugins one at a time, starting with the events calendar, and let us know which plugin(s) result in the errors?
Thank you for your patience,
SkySky
KeymasterMauro,
I understand your frustration in figuring out which plugins and licenses you need for your circumstances. Fortunately, we offer a 30 day refund window for all products. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
You can request a full refund for the two licenses you purchased, and then purchase the personal licenses if that is what is needed. Also check out our product bundles for discounts when purchasing multiple plugins.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have to help figure out what you need before purchasing on our pre-sales support forum
If you wouldn’t mind, could you share with us what you found confusing about the license descriptions? Perhaps we could make it clearer for future customers. The key delineation is the number of sites the plugin will be used on.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterJames,
Do you have a staging site we could try this on? If not, could you create one for testing purposes? Here is an article that describes different methods for setting one up: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/how-to-create-a-wordpress-staging-site
Another option would be to put the site temporarily in maintenance mode for a few minutes while you check for conflicts. https://wordpress.org/plugins/lj-maintenance-mode/

I’m going to change this ticket to “resolved.” Let us know if you have any other questions or issues in the future.

KeymasterBart,
To enable the 24 hour time format, navigate in the WordPress Dashboard to Settings > General amd change the sitewide “Time Format” setting to H:i.

KeymasterHi Martin,
Here is a code snippet that will move the Events Tickets Plus menu item to the bottom of the menu.
https://gist.github.com/skyshab/83ab4574b837826da0bd8164b090d808
This could be added either to a custom plugin (preferred) or else to your theme’s functions.php file.
Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks,
SkySky
KeymasterHi Kat!
I’m sorry to hear that you had difficulties using the Events Calendar with Elementor. Could you provide some more information about what specifically is not working?
You can always use the default Events Calendar views on your site without Elementor on those pages, and there shouldn’t be any conflicts as long as your theme plays nice with our plugins. If you are wanting to insert Events Calendar components within Elementor pages, you may need Events Calendar Pro, which comes with shortcodes that can be used anywhere on your site.
All of our plugins have a 30 day refund period, so you can try out the Events Calendar Pro and see if it works any better with Elementor without any risk.
Thanks for reaching out. If you let me know more about the issues you are having, I may be able to offer some more insight on how to work around them.

KeymasterHello Iver,
I’m sorry to hear that you are having issues with the calendar customization options. I will try to help figure out the problem.
Can you please try temporarily switching to the default Twenty Seventeen theme and disable all non Events Calendar plugins to see if it is a theme or plugin conflict? You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/.
Also, make sure you have updated all of the Events Calendar plugins to the latest versions.
Thanks,
Sky -
