Tested your free The Events Calendar on a site and got PHP errors. Made clean WP install on another hoster and get the same:
    Open Events/Settings:
Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /homepages/18/d38474453/htdocs/projekte/ah/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 53

PDF plugin generates PHP errors, too, so I can’t watch the generated PDFs as admin:
Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__Tickets_Plus__Commerce__WooCommerce__Main’ not found in /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-pdf-tickets/index.php on line 342
    or even:
    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Tribe__Tickets_Plus__Commerce__WooCommerce__Main’ not found in /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-pdf-tickets-1/index.php:342 Stack trace: #0 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-pdf-tickets-1/index.php(863): Tribe__Extension__PDF_Tickets->get_attendee_id_from_unique_id(‘5a6a671a5e52364…’) #1 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): Tribe__Extension__PDF_Tickets->load_pdf(”) #2 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #3 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/template-loader.php(12): do_action(‘template_redire…’) #5 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-blog-header.php(19): require_once(‘/is/htdocs/wp11…’) #6 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/index.php(17): require(‘/is/htdocs/wp11.. in /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-pdf-tickets-1/index.php on line 342

Plugin Advanced Options for Adding Events to the Main Blog Loop even kills the whole backend (must be removes manually):
    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Tribe__Settings_Helper’ not found in /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-main-blog-loop/index.php:62 Stack trace: #0 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): Tribe__Extension__Main_Blog_Loop->add_settings(”) #1 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #2 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-admin/admin.php(156): do_action(‘admin_init’) #4 /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-admin/plugins.php(10): require_once(‘/is/htdocs/wp11…’) #5 {main} thrown in /is/htdocs/wp1142725_C5XG7JLS1K/www/ah26/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-main-blog-loop/index.php on line 62

Need a tickets system running urgently and you seem to be No.1 – but that seems to mean not that much right now…

    Benjamin,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the Events Calendar. Looking at the errors you posted, it seems the problems are being caused by one or more of the extensions you are using. These extensions are not part of our official product lineup, and may not be updated as regularly. That being said, we do want to know if any of them have problems.

For issues dealing with the free version of the Events Calendar and the community extensions, you can get help over at the WordPress support forums. These forums are intended for general pre-sales questions or support for customers who have purchased one of our premium plugins.

    Thanks,
    Sky

Sorry Sky, but that’s not true.
As I wrote I did a clean WP install (recent 4.9.2) with NO additional plugins and excatly according to your reference ‘testing for conflicts’: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
This all on another server from another hoster with another db.

AND I bought the full versions and there at least the PHP warning when opening ‘events calendar/settings’ (…/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 53) still appears.

So what other extensions? No extensions in that clean test install and Event Tickets, Event Tickets Extension: PDF Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar PRO (and the later installed Advanced Post Manager -which needs an update at least for the compatibility info) are ALL Modern Tribe, Inc.

If it’s “cauesd by one or more of the extensions I am using” then these ARE “part of your official product lineup”.
Don’t like people who are always fast at saying “It’s all the other’s fault”. And since I bought your products I also have the right of professional support now. btw: got not a single answer at the WordPress support forums…

    Best regards
    Benjamin

    Benjamin,

I apologize for the confusion. We are limited in the amount of support we can provide in the “pre sales” forum. If you have purchased one of our premium plugins such as the Events Calendar Pro, you will get a higher level of support by posting in the proper forum using the email address that is registered to your products.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/

We handle support for the free version of the Events Calendar on the WordPress support forums. Being for non paying users, we unfortunately can’t provide as quick of a response time over there, but we do pay attention and devote resources to the questions posted.

Regarding the extensions: we keep an archive of useful customizations provided by our community and team members that come up as people find ways to extend our official plugins. These extensions are not part of our official plugin lineup, and don’t get the same attention as our primary products do. However, as I said, we do want to know when there is an issue with one of them.

If possible, can you enable the plugins one at a time, starting with the events calendar, and let us know which plugin(s) result in the errors?

    Thank you for your patience,
    Sky

Found a helpful post on the WordPress Forum:

    Hi,
I had the same problem. I am working with a German WordPress backend. I think the problem has to do with the “__(” function in line 53 using a defective language file.
I downloaded the actual language files (*.po and *.mo) of my language from https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable and replaced the existing in my /wp-cntent/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang dirctory. it seems to work with no error message.

    I’ll try that now…

    Hi Benjamin,

In order to get the best assistance with this, can you please re-post in the appropriate forum? If you have a license for one of our premium plugins, you can log in using the email connected to your account and post in the forum for that product. Otherwise, please post your issue on the WordPress support forums.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Sky
