To add a category to the shortcode, you would do this: [tribe_events category="my-custom-category"]

So far we have [tribe_events view=”photo” tribe-bar=”false” limit=”4″] and we want to add the category filter within this code

Yep! Category is one of the attributes that will work in any view.

So i guess that this feature will have no benefit in [tribe_events view=”photo” tribe-bar=”false” limit=”4″] ?

Hi Mike!

There are different templates for the featured events in each view. By default, featured events in the photo view have a blue background instead of grey on the the event information.
