ParticipantHi there Jon,
Great question! I’m happy to give you an answer! π
We actually have a knowledgebase article on this very subject right here, that I think should give you all the information you need to do this.
Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or need any clarification on this!

ParticipantHi Steph,
I’m happy to help out here! π
Definitely the easiest way to filter all of your events by those data types, is through using the Filter Bar plugin, yes.
Displaying past and future events in the search is going to be a customization that’s outside the scope of the support we offer on this forum. However, you can display past events with our event shortcodes.
Please let me know if this information is helpful and if you have any follow up questions or need any clarification!

ParticipantHi Bob,
I’m happy to help answer your question here!
Yes, that should be possible using a very similar snippet. If you decide to purchase the plugin, I would just link to that thread, and possibly request Nico to help you out with it since he authored the original snippet. π
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or need clarification!

Thanks for reaching out, I’d be happy to help. π
I think I understand, but just to clarify, could you explain what the final result of this will do? I want to make sure I’m able to giveΒ the most relevant information possible for this topic. π
I look forward to your response!

ParticipantHi there Kevin,
This is actually a documented bug that our developers are prioritizing right now. The goal is to resolve this in the next Maintenance Release. π
I will add your thread to the list in the ticket, and associate your thread with the ticket so that you will get an update when this has been resolved!
Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or need any clarification.

ParticipantHey there Derek,
Thanks for reaching out!
I did some testing with Yoast (since that’s the more widely-used of the two plugins you mentioned), and I’m not able to replicate this problem. I think it may have to do with how you have the settings configured within the plugin. Could you possibly re-enable your SEO plugin so that I can inspect the page and look for which setting might be causing the conflict? π
Thanks!

ParticipantHi again π
I’m now noticing the same error. :/
However, I’ve learned that the cleanup utility went on to create this recurring events cleanup extension, which I’m not sure will be useful in this case.
I did find this plugin though, which may work well for you. π I do need to insist, however, that you back up your database prior to running something like this.
Let me know how this goes!

ParticipantHi Thomas,
You should be able to delete the plugin version you currently have via FTP, and re-download the latest version in your account area to install it on your demo site, which won’t require a license key. You’ll get a message about an invalid key, but you can ignore it. π
I just need your site to be up to date so that any solutions we come up with will work with the latest plugin version. π
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Michael,
I apologize for any clunkiness in this process, troubleshooting IWP is still fairly new around here, so I’m still learning common errors and establishing a troubleshooting process.
Just to clarify, did the license key solve your issues, or are you still experiencing these problems?
Let me know!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Myles,
While I understand what you are trying to do (and you’ve already made some great headway in relation to this goal – nice work!), I’m afraid there’s not much else I can provide: a solid working knowledge of WP development is likely to be needed here to wrap up your customizations.
We do always try to help and point users making these sorts of changes in the right direction where we can, and we wish we could do more to help you but, in this case specifically, I’m afraid we’re at the limits of what we can offer here on the support forums.
Thanks you for understanding,Β and best of luck with this project.
Cheers,
