September 26, 2017 at 6:24 am in reply to: Shortcode conflict with the LayerSlider Plugin, and mouse over in month view not #1354875Patricia
MemberHi Gerard,
Thank you for sharing your test results with us! At this moment, when I mouse over your events in month view calendar, I can see the following JS error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'innerHTML' of null
It seems that tribe-events-min.js script is not being called and/or is conflicting with another script. I can’t reproduce this issue from my own WordPress install while having Twenty Seventeen theme and all Modern Tribe plugins enabled. Did you purge your site and browser cache after running the conflicts test and disabling all of your plugins and changing your theme?
Also, please make sure that all of your plugins, theme and WordPress core are up to date: let us know if the issue persists after the updates.
If you have any other questions in the mean time, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Ryan!
You are right, Community Events is on version 4.5.5 right now. I referred to The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO versions in my last response, that’s why they didn’t match: My apologies for that!
Regarding the plugin updates: there are some hosting providers that automatically update all plugins for you, but in most cases the site owner or administrador is the one responsible to run the updates. Since you have valid and active licenses, if you click to update your plugins from Dashboard, the Premium plugins will be automatically updated as well.
I don’t believe that this specific error is associated with your WordPress setup (multisite with a mapped domain).
Can you please confirm that you are getting this random 404 error only in the Community Events submission form?
Random 404 errors can be caused by caching problems or PHP Memory limit problems: as I can see from your system info you already have a high PHP memory limit (768M), but I would suggest you to increase it a little bit more, purge your site and browser cache and let me know if the issue is solved after that.
If that doesn’t help to solve your problem, please please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share with us any messages you see while accessing your CE submission form. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content/debug.log.
If you need anything else in the mean time, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Best regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Lou!
I’m glad to know you were able to customize the register text. Your div wrap is certainly better than the default button class I used as an example to help you get started! Nice job!
Let me know if you have any other questions in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHey Peter,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it!
I’ve seen a few threads where users are reporting this exact same problem and after reviewing and comparing them, I believe this issue might be associated with a conflict between your Page Builder and The Events Calendar.
To confirm this, can you please temporarily change your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let me know if the issue persists after that?
Also, can you please let me know if you did recently update your theme/Page builder?
If you downgrade The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO to their previous versions, is the problem solved? (We have a case where the issue persists even after the plugin downgrade).
Please send us your test results so we can further investigate your case.
Thanks!
Patricia
September 25, 2017 at 12:34 pm in reply to: I moved my data to a new site but location and organizers are not linked #1354483Patricia
MemberHey Shane,
Welcome back!
Since we don’t have much experience and won’t be able to provide high level support for WP All Import plugin, I would recommend you to migrate your events from one calendar to another using WordPress Export Tools.
The migration process is pretty simple: we have an article explaining how to move events, venues, and organizers from one site to another. You will find further information in the following link:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-wordpress-export-tools-to-migrate-events-content/
I hope this helps! If this migration method is not working as expected, please let me know and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case.
Best regards,
Patricia

September 25, 2017 at 11:55 am in reply to: Events Calendar PRO Events Events Aggregator NOT working #1354456Patricia
MemberHey @ctaintsobad,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it!
I’ve imported the event from the same Facebook page you shared the link with us and couldn’t reproduce the issue you are experiencing from here.
Can you please access your Dashboard and head over to Events > Settings > APIs tab and under Facebook click “Refresh your connection with Facebook” button to see if it changes anything?
If the issue persists after trying to refresh your connection, I would suggest you to click on “Disconnect” and after that reconnect to Facebook again.
Once you’ve completed these steps, please head over to Events > Help > Event Aggregator System Status and let me know if you see any warnings/messages there.
Thanks!

MemberHey Carmine,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it!
Did you recently update your WordPress core to 4.8.2?
Last week we released a Hotfix (The Events Calendar 4.5.12.3) to solve an issue related to the display of events in the default Month View.
Can you please update The Events Calendar and let me know if the problem is solved after that?
Thanks!

MemberHey Marie,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing, let me help you to solve it!
Can you please make sure that both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are up to date? After that, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings -> Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically flush your permalinks once you visit it).
Don’t forget to clear your site’s cache and your browser cache after this change.
Let me know if this helps to solve your problem!
If you have any other questions in the mean time, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!

September 25, 2017 at 10:56 am in reply to: Shortcode not working. License doesn't seem active. #1354393Patricia
MemberHey Kevin,
Thank you for reaching out to us! As I can see from your system info you only have The Events Calendar installed and activated: you have to install Events Calendar PRO to be able to use the shortcodes.
Please access your account, download and install the latest version of Events Calendar PRO.
After that, please access your Dashboard and head over to Events > Settings > Licenses, add your license key and press the “Save Changes” button in the end of that page.
I hope this helps!
Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time.
Best Regards,
Patricia

September 25, 2017 at 8:51 am in reply to: Widget has endless spinner with after PRO 4.4.17 update #1354301Patricia
MemberHi Tim,
I’m getting a 502 Bad Gateway error when buildpress-child theme is enabled in my own WordPress install, so I’m not able to reproduce the issue you are experiencing at this moment: can you please make sure that you sent all files and directories associated with your theme and child theme as well? Perhaps a file is missing and causing the error.
Also, can you please access your Dashboard and head over to Events > Settings > Display, change the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” to “Tribe Events Styles” and let me know if the problem is solved after that?
You can also change the “Events template” option to “Default Events Template” and check if the issue persists after that.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time.
Thanks,
Patricia
