MemberHi Jake,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Unfortunately, our Eventbrite Tickets add-on does not support automatic syncing of new events from Eventbrite at this time. I’m so sorry to disappoint! You may be interested in keeping tabs on our UserVoice forum, however–we do have some improvements for our Eventbrite tools slated for one or more future product releases. While we don’t have any specific details or a timeline to share at present, you can keep up with the latest updates from our team right here:
For now, I’d suggest that Event Aggregator is the best way to perform automated imports of events from various sources. For more information on importing from Event Aggregator, check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/
I hope that helps to get you started here! 🙂 Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
September 25, 2017 at 7:43 pm in reply to: Which is product is best for visitors to reserve seats/tickets for a free event? #1354688Caroline
MemberHi Julie,
Thanks for reaching out–happy to clarify this for you! 🙂 We offer four ticket products in total that each offer unique features related to ticketing events. Here’s a brief rundown of all four:
Event Tickets – Our core ticketing product, this free plugin provides the most basic level of functionality for RSVPs (free tickets). Site administrators can add tickets to posts, pages, events, or other custom post types, and site visitors can register for events that they wish to attend.
Event Tickets Plus – This premium plugin extends the functionality of Event Tickets, adding support for paid tickets and order management with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads. Other features unique to Event Tickets Plus include custom registration fields and support for QR codes, allowing event staff to scan a special code to check in attendees at your events.
Community Tickets – This premium plugin requires Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and Community Events to function. For administrators who are using Community Events to allow site visitors to submit events, Community Tickets allows visitors to add tickets to their events, as well. This plugin is great for community-focused sites where administrators may wish to split ticket sales revenue with event organizers.
Eventbrite Tickets – This premium plugin integrates with the Eventbrite ticketing service, allowing users to sync events and tickets to and from an existing Eventbrite account. It’s most useful for those who have an existing presence on Eventbrite and who wish to integrate it with their WordPress site.
Based on your stated needs, it sounds like Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus will be the best fit for your site! This combination will give you all the ticketing features you need, including a full range of tools for free tickets and support for paid ticketing when you need it. You can read more about each of these plugins on the following product pages:

MemberHi Marine,
Thanks for reaching out! Queries such as these are determined by an event’s start date–if your event’s start date is located within the specified range, the event will be displayed by the query, even if the event’s end date falls outside of that range. For more information on crafting event queries, please refer to our Knowledgebase documentation here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-event-queries/
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberHi Daniele,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’re using the core version of The Events Calendar without Event Tickets, you can specify a price for your event in the Cost field under the Event Cost subheading. For more information on this and other fields available when creating or editing events, check out our Knowledgebase article here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-an-event/
I hope that helps to get you on your way! If you should have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to pay us a visit over on our WordPress.org support forum for The Events Calendar. These forums are designated for current users of our plugins, and our support team members would be more than glad to assist you there! 🙂

MemberHi Cassiana,
Thanks so much for your interest in our products and services! I’m afraid that we aren’t able to take on these types of customization or development projects at this time. However, we do maintain a list of third-party developers who are more than happy to discuss projects such as these! I’d suggest reaching out to any one of them with your project details:

MemberHi Joanne,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’m afraid that at this time, none of our products, including Community Events, include support for paid event submissions. This feature is slated to be added to a future plugin update, though we’re unable to provide an exact timeline for when that update might be available. If you’re interested in keeping up with the progress of this feature, you can always get the latest info and updates from this feature’s page on our UserVoice forum:
You might also consider enlisting the services of a third-party developer to develop this feature for you! We maintain a list of developers on our Knowledgebase who work with our plugins and who are happy to take on projects such as these:

I hope that helps to get you started here! 🙂 Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Rowan,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Unfortunately, we don’t offer search widget functionality with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO at this time. I’m so sorry to disappoint. 🙁 If you’re comfortable with a little development and are interested in harnessing our event search tool to create your own widget, our Themer’s Guide might be a helpful resource–you’ll find references to all of our existing plugin templates there, along with plenty of tips, tricks, and useful suggestions to keep in mind as you’re crafting your own customizations!
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
For a complete list of what widgets are included with both versions of The Events Calendar, please refer to our Knowledgebase article here:

I hope that helps to get you started here! 🙂 Thanks again for reaching out, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! 🙂 While our plugins don’t offer any built-in options for directing calendar links to other site pages, you may be able to achieve this functionality using a third-party redirection plugin. Here’s a link to one that might work for your needs–a quick search of the WordPress.org plugin repository should turn up plenty of other options, as well!

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi there,
Thanks for reaching out–happy to assist with this! On reviewing your account and licensing with us, it does appear that your renewal order on August 18th was processed and applied successfully. If you’re seeing a reminder to renew on your WordPress site, you may wish to check your plugin settings and confirm that your license key has been entered correctly! Our Knowledgebase article here illustrates the process for finding and entering your license key:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/finding-and-inputting-your-license-key/
Regarding your events no longer displaying on your site, this behavior is triggered not by an expired license but by a bug affecting older versions of The Events Calendar. Critical security updates pushed to WordPress 4.8.2 and several previous versions on Tuesday introduced a significant issue with The Events Calendar. This bug resulted in some users seeing an empty calendar when attempting to view events in the default Month View. We shipped an urgent hotfix within hours of WordPress 4.8.2 to address this issue, and a subsequent maintenance release on the 21st includes several more important updates and bug fixes for our plugins. Would you please take a moment to update your install of The Events Calendar to the latest version? Let us know if this helps to resolve your issue! ?
