Hi Giorgio,

Thanks for posting. At this time, The Events Calendar is not compatible with WPML, qTranslate, or any of the other multi-lingual plugins available- so it will only work in one language. However, we are planning to work on making it compatible with WPML this year, so that will be an option in the future.

I recommend that you add your vote to our UserVoice page for this feature. That way you can stay updated as we work on this, and you’ll be notified once we release a compatible version. Thank you for your interest and for your patience while we work on this!

Hi Clara,

Thanks for your note. I looked at my test site and the translation appears to work properly there. Can you confirm that you are running the latest versions of WordPress (4.1.1) and The Events Calendar (3.9.1).

If you are running the latest versions and still seeing that issue, it would be worth testing for a theme conflict. It’s possible that something about your theme is messing up that one string. In that case, you might try getting in touch with your theme developer to see if they can help.

Another option is to try is using a plugin like Say What? to directly target that string and have it translated.

Hi Henrik,

Those fields can be changed in the backend under Events –> Settings –> Filter Bar. They are not directly translated since they are all just text fields that can be changed 🙂 So you can go ahead and type in whatever you’d like to them to display, in any language.
