MemberHi Mirko,
Thank you for volunteering to help out! We would love to get an updated Italian translation for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. You can find the instructions and files you need in our knowledgebase.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Best,

GuestHi! i hope i’m still in time, i had some other hard work to do 🙂
i teranslated what i was asking for, and corrected many more lines. lots of them were very poorly translated and not even italian (like some random google translate)
i hope to see my translation in the next update, and maybe get a copy of The Events Calendar Pro? 🙂

MemberHi Mirko,
Thanks for working on these! I checked them out and there are a number of updated strings that still need to be translated. I updated the files so that the strings are there and ready for you to translate. You can download them here. Can you please translate the empty strings and then upload it again for me?
Thank you!

MemberHi Mirko,
We just released 3.10 today, but you can still get the translation done for 3.10.1 or 3.11 🙂

ParticipantHi Mirko,
Thank you for your interest in helping with translating our plugins! Unfortunately, we’re no longer using the original method for accepting or sharing translations via the Translations Forum. We have something much better now, so that more people can contribute and our translations can stay more consistently updated.
We’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups for it here:
And here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/Two things to note are:
1 – You do not have to submit an entire translation, you can just submit translations for individual strings. Even if it’s just one string, or something like a spelling correction, it all helps!
2 – Your submitted strings will be saved as “suggestions”, and not immediately included in a translation file for export until an administrator approves them. This may seem like a limitation, but it just helps us ensure nobody comes along and deletes translations or adds spam or something to them. Your suggestions will be approved very promptly.
I hope the information here brings you up to speed on our new translations site – let us know if it does, or if you have any other questions or concerns! 🙂
Thank you!

Guestthat’s cool and all but you should have told me this before.

ParticipantI’m sorry for your frustration, Mirko, and agree that we could’ve handled the updating of translations in this release much better. Since you made a full translation and have been cool with us despite our rough transition to the new Translations Site, I’d love to still give you a discounted or free products license. Shoot us an email at [email protected] with a link back to this thread, we’d love to help you out! 🙂
Thank you Mirko, and indeed stay tuned to the Translations site, we will approve your translation as fast as possible.
Cheers,
