MemberHi Larry – very sorry for the confusion. I think Rob meant lets move this discussion over to the thread with Rachel, and just link to this thread.
I am going to get higher level support on this now – but in the other thread 🙂

MemberHello Caroline, you need to buy it first 🙂 We have full instructions on how to set up the add-on here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/

MemberHi Sean, sorry for sending it to you twice – the url string had a different number so I didn’t realize it. I did tell the dev team about your situation though, and told them your update. Hopefully we can get you some help with this. Did it work when you tried the solution in the post?

MemberHello Joseph, you can email us at pro /at/ tri.be and reference this thread. You can also address it to me in particular.

MemberHi Mark, I talked to Shane today and he said depending on your budget, we may be able to do this under “sponsorship”, which means that we can set up a rate that would be cheaper than normal for us to do it, since it is on our radar anyway. The “sponsorship” would speed up the process so we can get something released for the general public. It may not be exactly customized to your specifications, since it needs to be sell-able to a wider audience, but it can get you close.
Regarding freelancers, we’d also need to know your budget for this type of thing.
If you’d rather not talk numbers publicly, please do send us an email at pro /at/ tri.be and we’ll take it from there.
I’m also going to see if one of our more active community members can help you out.
Thanks!

MemberHello Don, this is interesting. I don’t think this would work right out of the box, you’d need to get it customized a little so that the page where users submit events also has forms for the Eventbrite details. I haven’t heard of any requests like this before, but it is very intriguing. Let me see if I can get you more info.

MemberHi Kasia! Thanks for this – just curious though, is this for the SEO issue or the WP Router issue? That way I can tell our team about it 🙂

MemberHello Oliver,
Thanks for your message. Can you confirm you’ve followed all the instructions at our new user primer to set up your events? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/eventbrite-tickets-new-user-primer/
It sounds to me like this is a user role setting that needs to be fixed.
This area in particular addresses those settings: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/#commreviewDo let me know if this is what you need!

MemberCan you confirm you’ve done everything in our new user primer to set things up exactly as instructed?
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/eventbrite-tickets-new-user-primer/
If you have, can you send me your Eventbrite ID that you are trying to use to see if I can duplicate the error on my end?

MemberHello Neil can you confirm you’ve set up your timezone settings in WordPress’s General Settings? And your timezone in Eventbrite matches?

MemberHello Larry,
Very sorry to hear you’re having this problem. We’ve heard from other users that they’re having issues with the Pagelines theme when trying to integrate our plugin.
What I know now is that we don’t have that much to offer, but we really value the feedback, which help us pinpoint ways to make our plugin better for the next releases, which we do monthly.
Here is a related thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/pagelines/#post-23297
If you search our forums you will see more topics related to Pagelines that might help.
That being said, I am definitely going to try to get some higher level support this, to help troubleshoot more than what I am capable of. We’ll see if any devs know what to do.
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHello Julie, I am very perplexed by this.
I need you try the plugins on the latest version of the Twenty Eleven theme, not anything else. The Twenty Eleven theme is the latest in WordPress standards and is the litmus test to show us if the problem is theme related or not. It will help us narrow down the issue.
For number 7, it is really easy – if you click on the link there are instruction in that article that tell you exactly what to do.
Can you set your permalinks to “postname”?
Can you also confirm you did everything in this new user primer to set up your plugins? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/community-events-new-user-primer/
Is your license for sure activated?
Thanks!
Regarding the categories not saving – this should be fixed, and if it is not now it should be fixed in the next release of the community events plugin, which we release at the beginning of every month, so hopefully soon.
When you say the image size is “strange” can you be more specific? Can you show me what you mean?

MemberHello Alex, you’d definitely need to change some code. For that type of customization I’d have to refer you to our documentation page: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation
Let me know if you find something there that would work for you to get that fixed for your case. The plugin is really built to suit a larger audience of users, so in these one off cases where it may not work for one site, it becomes a customization request, which we can’t always support, unless it’s a really easy fix.
If you can’t find anything on the documentation page and aren’t able to figure out something by trying some code let me know and I’ll try to get a dev team member involved. No guarantees they’d be available though 🙁
Thanks!

MemberStill getting the same message 🙁 Are you able to set up the site on a temporary domain for now so we can do some testing?
