Hello Andy, just wanted to let you know your act of kindness in sending us this has been taken into account and we hope will be a fix in the next release 🙂

    Hello Matthew,

Sorry you’re having this error. It sounds a little different though, since it seems related to the organizer name, rather than the venue name. For organization sake, would you mind re-posting your question to a new thread under “Eventbrite” so we can keep things organized here? It would help us a lot. Here is the link to the forum: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/eventbrite-tickets/

In the mean time, when you post the new post can you confirm with me you’ve done everything in our new user primer to set up Eventbrite correctly?

Someone else had a problem with getting events into Eventbrite, it’s not exactly the same issue, but it may be worth a go if you’d want to try his solution: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/import-an-error-occurred-while-updating-eventbrite/#post-21196

    Hello Abdylas,

Thanks for posting here. Since it is a customization issue, I will leave it to the community to see if they can help you. It does go outside the scope of our support to help with customization.

That being said, we know a lot of people want to customize, so we do have a documentation guide that might help: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation

    We also have a Themer’s guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/

Now, the tutorial on integrating Genesis with the Events Calendar is great for non-coders, and even if you theme is not using the Genesis framework, the tutorial sheds a lot of light on principles that would apply to any theme. I strongly recommend you check it out! https://theeventscalendar.com/tutorial-integrating-the-events-calendar-w-genesis/

Thanks again for posting! If you figure this out and learn something new, do share it with the community – I’m sure more people will benefit from it 🙂

Hello Javier, in your Calendar settings, have you set up the Template to be “default events template”? That is where you would need to control the template the calendar uses.

Other than that, you’d have to custom code or fix this to work with your theme, which is outside the scope of our support forum. We do have a Themer’s guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/

Also, while your theme may not use Genesis, the tutorial we have on integrating the Genesis framework with our calendar sheds light on a lot of principles that would apply to other themes as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/tutorial-integrating-the-events-calendar-w-genesis/

Hello Javier, you may need to check out our Themer’s guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/themers-guide-to-the-events-calendar/

And also our technical documentation to find this: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation

Let me know if you can’t find anything there.

Hello R M – do you by any chance have the CSV Importer installed? Can you send me screenshots of what is happening with your formatting so I can show the devs?
    Thanks!

    Hello Yellowhousedesign!

Thanks for posting here – this is an interesting topic and I’m sure when we find a good answer for it, it will benefit the community here.

I personally don’t have the skill level to help you out but I wanted you to know that you are being heard and not ignored 🙂

This type of customization is not usually covered by our support team, since it is technically a “customization,” but I’m still going to try to get someone on this that may be able to help out.

In the mean time, have you checked out our Technical Documentation page? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation It might have what you are looking for. Do let me know if you see something there that could work for you.

    Thanks for your patience!

Hello Jen, just letting you know Rob is away at the moment, but I’m going to try to get someone with more skill than I to help you out on this, since I’m no expert on WPML.

About the notifications, we did have problems with that and know we need to fix it. Sorry you’re not getting all the follow ups. They seem to work ok for me now, but there are some that slip through the cracks.

    Hello Lee,
I’m very sorry you’re having this issue. I’m going to try to get some higher level support to help you out as soon as I can. However, to get us started, we first need to rule out the most common possibilities and get you on the latest set up to make sure we can offer you support. Can you confirm you’ve done all of the following for me?

    1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?
    2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.8)?
    3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
    4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
    5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?
    6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)?
    7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?

If you can respond in detail to each of these so I know you’ve done all of them, and none of them worked to fix the issue, I can get someone in on this asap.

    Thanks!

    Hi Julie,
I am very sorry you’re having this issue. I have never heard of it before and I can’t see any other forum posts about it with any clues to help us. Can you please write me an email at pro /at/ tri.be with your login credentials to your site? But please also give me permission to access your site in your e-mail to me, since we can’t be responsible in case anything happens. I won’t change anything on your site, but I do need to look around. If necessary I may need to get another developer involved.

    Thanks!

    Hi Dmitry,
Yoast breadcrumbs are included in WordPress SEO by Yoast – are you using that plugin, and are you able to try switching to that instead? I could be wrong but I think when Yoast came out with WordPress SEO he stopped worked on the individual SEO plugins, like breadcrumbs.

Also, are you able to update your WordPress to 3.4.1 and let me know if this still happens to you? You may want to set up a test environment for this.

    Thanks!

    Hello Don!

I found out a little more info for you.

Another person on the team also thought it was a great idea and good question, and we will be logging this in our internal development discussion.

In the mean time, I’ve found that while the frontend community form for example does not have the ability to enable Eventbrite ticket sales, anyone with a backend account could certainly add Eventbrite tickets to a Community-submitted event.

PRO, however, integrates with both Community and Eventbrite (and Facebook). It provides the PRO features (saved venues, customized defaults, etc) on those plugins including the frontend Community form. Since the add-ons are all still quite young, that’s part of our broader plan in building these out. The ultimate goal is for everything to integrate smoothly with everything else.

    Thanks for posting your request!
