    Hello,

If you go under Events > Settings > Imports, you can set the Event Update Authority to “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source.” – this will update the events on your site each time the import is run. However, this does not replace events, it only updates them and adds new events if new events have been added to the source since the last import. If you are creating a new import (vs importing again from the same source), then you may wind up with duplicates. If your CRM offers a format that Event Aggregator supports, I would recommend setting up a scheduled import so that these changes will automatically be made on your site each time the import runs.

If you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

First, I would recommend setting the “Clean up recurring events after” setting under Events > Settings > General to 1, which should help keep the number of old recurring events down. There is not currently any built-in functionality to delete all past events at once, but you can increase the number of events shown on the admin page by clicking “Screen options” at the top of the page (see screenshot). This will let you select more events at once to delete. You might also try using a plugin like Bulk Delete or Post Expirator.

If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use it to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Hi Joanna,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You can create events that span multiple consecutive days (so an event that starts 8am Monday, April 1st and ends 5pm Friday, April 5th for example) using The Events Calendar, and you can add tickets to this event with Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus. This would be the only way to sell tickets to all days in a class.

With Events Calendar Pro, you can use recurring events to create a series of events that occur daily from 8-5 April 1st – 5th. You can then add tickets to the series, but it is not currently possible to create tickets for individual dates within a series. So you would not be able to create an individual ticket for April 1, April 2, etc.

If I understand correctly, it sounds like you need users to register for a block of dates, but not all blocks of dates? If so, then you should be able to accomplish this using Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets (if you would like to offer RSVP-style tickets or sell tickets through PayPal) or Event Tickets Plus (if you would like to sell tickets through WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads and get some additional features like the ability to collect additional information from attendees). You would create a series for each block and then add the tickets to the each series.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus and/or Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Hi Kristin,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I would first recommend changing the “Events template” setting under Events > Settings > Display. If this doesn’t help, then the simplest option would be to hide the sidebar with CSS.

If you do need to jump into the template files, then you could use the tribe_is_event function to check if you are on an events page before displaying the sidebar. However, keep in mind that any changes made directly in your theme files will be overwritten next time you update your theme, so you would want to do this in a child theme.

We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations like this, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know – I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Seth,

Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus!

There is not a specific integration with WooCommerce Memberships, but ET+ does integrate with WooCommerce and does include the option to limit ticket sales to logged-in users only. If you need a more detailed level of control over which types of users can purchase tickets, then you would really need to test it out to see if you can get it working the way you need – tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, so they typically do work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions.

Sending admin notifications when sales have hit a certain point is not something that is built-in to Event Tickets Plus, but you might be able to get this set up using a third-party add-on.

Email reminders to attendees is also not currently built-in, but you can export the list of attendees and import it into an email platform to send emails out that way.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Hi Elisa,

Event Tickets Plus allows you to integrate with WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to handle checkout and payment processing – WooCommerce comes with support for Stripe, and Easy Digital Downloads has an add-on that you can purchase to use Stripe as your payment gateway.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Hi Louie,

Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus!

You are correct that recurring tickets are not currently supported – you can add a ticket to a series of events, but the ticket will apply to the series as a whole, not individual dates in the series. If you need one ticket per day, you would need to create a separate ticket for each day.

We are working on adding in true recurring ticket functionality in the future, but unfortunately I don’t have a timeline for you at the moment as to when this will be implemented.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Hi Brian,

Thanks for checking out Community Events!

There is not a specific integration for BuddyPress, but Community Events does create a front end form to submit events and does have the option to require users to be logged in to submit events. The following articles have some more details on how this looks on the backend:

    Hi Julio,

You can see what the events pages look by default here on our demo site. If you’re seeing additional text on the page, it is most likely coming from your theme or possibly another plugin. You can test this by running through the steps outlined here or using a plugin like Health Check.

While the Pro version adds additional views (photo, map, and week), it doesn’t change the default views (month, day, and list), so the Pro version would likely not make a difference with this particular issue. We are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-sales forum.

You can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license. Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.

    Hello,

To hide tickets, you can set the start and end sale dates to be in the past, which will prevent them from showing up on the front end.

Alternatively, you could create a coupon for free tickets. Using this method, you would not need to create a separate ticket, and you could either give the code to the users you want to give free tickets to or use the code to create the tickets for them yourself.

Let me know if this will work for you or if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Unfortunately there is not a way to send out reminders (manually or automatically). I would recommend exporting the attendees list, importing it into a third-party email platform, and setting up the reminders there.

If this is a feature you would like to see added in the future, we’d love it if you could post the idea in our Feature Ideas Forum! We use it to gauge user interest in new features and help plan future development. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi Aaron,

If you have “Default Events Template” selected under Events > Settings > Display > Events Template, then the template for all of the views is default-template.php, found in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views. This template pulls in the templates for each view…for list view, in the content.php file (in views/list), you’ll see tribe_get_events_title, which is where the title comes from. If you want to use a custom title, this would be the template to customize – our themer’s guide has instructions on doing template overrides.

If you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for here, please let me know!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately there is not an out-of-the-box way to add a second week in the same widget, but you could use CSS to hide the header for the second widget. For the header text, you can change it by doing a template override, or you could also hide both headers with CSS and type in “Upcoming Events” manually above the shortcodes.

If you would like to go with the override, our themer’s guide has instructions on this, and the template you’ll want to copy can be found at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/this-week-widget.php. The title comes from this line:

    <?php echo esc_html( tribe_events_get_this_week_title( $this_week_template_vars['start_date'] ) ); ?>

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Thanks for checking out Events Calendar Pro!

Out-of-the-box, there is not an option for the months to display exactly as they are in your screenshot…you can see what filters are available by default over on our demo site wpshinding.com. You could however get something set up with a customization – our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot!

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for checking out Community Events! This is not currently possible out of the box, but you can set the default status that events are submitted into to “Draft” or “Pending Review”, which will mean that events are not published to the front end until you choose to publish them. This would give you the chance to review the event and change the category if needed before it appears on any calendar on the front end.

Alternatively, you could do a customization to change the categories that are displayed on the front end form. Customizations are outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in the forums, but our themer’s guide would be the place to start if you would like to give this a shot!

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
