I’m looking for an easy way to use the mass import in Events Calendar PRO to replace all the events that are previously created. We basically keep our “golden copy” of our events in our CRM package, and when updates happen (they do frequently enough that it is very time consuming to change in multiple locations) we would like to export, re-import into WordPress and have our calendar update to the current.

    Hello,

If you go under Events > Settings > Imports, you can set the Event Update Authority to “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source.” – this will update the events on your site each time the import is run. However, this does not replace events, it only updates them and adds new events if new events have been added to the source since the last import. If you are creating a new import (vs importing again from the same source), then you may wind up with duplicates. If your CRM offers a format that Event Aggregator supports, I would recommend setting up a scheduled import so that these changes will automatically be made on your site each time the import runs.

If you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
