ParticipantHi,
Is there a way to have a ticket for an event that is not visible to the public.
For example, I want to have complimentary tickets that we give away at no cost but I don’t want the general public to be able to see these from the event page.

KeymasterHello,
To hide tickets, you can set the start and end sale dates to be in the past, which will prevent them from showing up on the front end.
Alternatively, you could create a coupon for free tickets. Using this method, you would not need to create a separate ticket, and you could either give the code to the users you want to give free tickets to or use the code to create the tickets for them yourself.
Let me know if this will work for you or if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantHi Jennifer,
If the tickets aren’t visible on the live event page, where do I go (as the admin) to go and put through the ‘purchase’?

KeymasterHi Emma,
This is a great question…there isn’t a built-in way to create tickets from the backend. If you are using WooCommerce, one option might be to create the order manually – this post has some more info on this.
If this won’t work for you, then your best bet would probably be to go with the coupons for free tickets and either give those out to your users or use them yourself to create free tickets from the front end.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straight-forward solution for you here! If this is a feature that you would like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer
