KeymasterHi Denise,
Thanks for reaching out!
We do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program that offers free licenses for Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved organizations. (Note that these licenses do not include access to our premium support forums, which require a paid license.)
Please submit an application, and we will get back to you soon!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this.
This does sound strange. If you download the upgrade from the Downloads section of your account, you should get the correct file (events-calendar-pro.4.4.8.zip). You can then unzip it and upload it via FTP. This article has some more detailed instructions on manually updating our plugins.
Let me know how that goes!

KeymasterHi Diego,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
You can get a grid view by selecting the photo view that comes with Events Calendar Pro, which would also work with Filter Bar. The Events Calendar comes with an archive page for past events, and you would still be able to update the past events with the pictures and results.
If you want a more customized page for past events, we have a themer’s guide with great info on customizing our templates.
I hope that answers your questions, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Carl,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this.
The best way to access the php files (which generate the html for our events pages and other pages on WordPress), would be via FTP (you may need to contact your hosting provider for information on how to connect). You can then make a copy of the template and paste it into your theme following these instructions, and then edit the copy.
Note that you can also adjust the styles for that page in your settings and by going to Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar.
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Crissy,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. The best place to start your troubleshooting is usually by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Sara,
Thanks for checking out our plugins. Sorry for the delayed response – our forums have been a bit busier than usual lately!
Using Events Calendar Pro, you can use shortcodes to dynamically display full calendar views or mini calendars by event categories on different pages around your site.
Regarding booking forms, these are attached to the events themselves with our Event Tickets (free RSVPs) or Event Tickets Plus (paid tickets) plugins.
So with Pro and one of our Tickets plugins, if someone went to a page with a calendar for one type of event, they would see all events for that category, and then when they clicked on an event, they would see the booking form on the event page.
Please let me know if you have any more questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Thomas,
Can you please try sending a new email to support (at) theeventscalendar (dot) com? (The email notifications you get from the forums are not set up to accept replies.) If you’re still unable to get in touch, you can also use the contact form and select “Help accessing my account”, or put your email address here in a private reply and we will reach out to you.
Thanks!
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ivan,
If this is a feature you’d like to see implemented in the future, would you mind taking a minute to let us know in our Feature Ideas forum? We love getting feedback on how we can improve in future releases!
Again, sorry there wasn’t a better answer for you here. I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you have any more questions, please feel free to open a new one!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Pim,
I’m sorry that’s not working for you – you should be getting the email at the address you set the recipient to. I would recommend trying SMTP, as it tends to be more reliable.
If that still doesn’t work for you, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see after attempting to send an email.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Chris,
I’m surprised you’re still getting that issue with the template you sent me. I copied yours into my testing site, and it was giving me the correct excerpt. Can you verify that you have it saved in /tribe-events/pro/ in your child theme?
One other thing you can do is use tribe_events_get_the_excerpt( $post ) instead of get_the_excerpt( $post ). This one is meant to be used in our events templates.
Jennifer
KeymasterLinh,
Glad to hear that worked!
You are correct – you can change the number to whatever you need.

KeymasterGlad I could help! I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to open a new one if you have any more questions.

KeymasterHi Mark,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Yes, you can create as many simultaneous events as you would like. You could create events for your conference, classes, and workshops during the same week; overlapping times will not cause a problem.
Customers can purchase tickets for multiple events in one transaction. Event Tickets Plus works with your eCommerce platform (such as WooCommerce) to handle transactions, so tickets are added to a cart and can then be purchased all together.
Requiring the purchase of one ticket in order to purchase another is not default functionality with Event Tickets Plus. You can require users to be logged in to purchase tickets, but from there you will need to get a little bit creative to get this to work. For example, you could add a custom field to the tickets for classes where users could enter their order number from the “registration” purchase, but validating that order number would require some code customizations (which we are currently not able to offer – check out or themer’s guide for information on customizing our plugins).
Another option would be to require approval for transactions before they are processed (through WooCommerce), but I believe this would mean you would have to approve every transaction, not just those for the class tickets.
Our refund policy entitles you to a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to test it out! I would also recommend downloading our free The Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins to get a feel for how events work.
Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you on that last question, but please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with!
