    Hello,

I’m sorry that you haven’t been able to get all of your events imported, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

First, I would recommend updating The Events Calendar to the current version (4.6.11.1). If you don’t see a prompt to update automatically in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.

Next, please check the Import Limit Type setting under Events > Settings > Imports. This limits the number/date range of events that are imported. If the April event is outside the date range that’s set, increasing the range should solve the issue.

If you haven’t come across these already, I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles, which have some great info on getting up and running with Event Aggregator:

Managing Your Scheduled Imports in Event Aggregator

    Event Aggregator Import Settings

How Do Event Aggregator’s Import Limits Work?

Importing Events from a Feed or URL

If the above suggestions don’t make a difference, can you please send me the link that you are trying to import from so that I can do some testing on my end?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry the shortcode isn’t working for you.

Thanks for chiming in here Alan! I tested this out in my local environment, and the shortcode was working for me using the category argument (even with the curly double quotes).

Dobie, can you please share your system info with me, as well as a link to the page you are displaying the shortcode on? Can you also try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins? If you would prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing. Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

The existing QR code is meant to work with QR code scanning apps…so out of the box, you can use most of the available apps meant for scanning QR codes to check in users. Once scanned, it will redirect to the device’s browser, where a user with privileges to check in users will need to be logged in.

Without knowing anything about the current scanning system that he is using, I can’t say for sure whether or not the existing QR code will work with his particular system. If it is capable of scanning QR codes and redirecting to the browser, then it should work with the QR codes, but you would really need to test it out to make sure.

You mentioned previously that your client currently rents his own scanners and that he did not want users to be able to check in attendees with their phones…If you wanted to use a different type of barcode (instead of the existing QR code), then that is when you would need to do a customization.

I hope that helps clarify things, but please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks for clarifying!

I took a look at your site, and the community event submission page is working on my end (see screenshot). Is this currently working on your end?

If not, I would first recommend re-installing The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Community Events.

I also noticed that you have a good amount of events on your site – did this happen after the first import with EA?

If you haven’t done so already, please also try running through these steps to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (with WP_DEBUG enabled). It is important to start from a default environment (a default theme like Twenty Seventeen enabled and all other plugins besides The Events Calendar, Events Calendar Pro, and Community Events disabled) before beginning to re-enable your theme and other plugins.

I looked back through previous support threads and found that some of our other users (who also had a large number of events on their sites) have run into this same error when using WP Super Cache. So, in your conflicts testing, I would recommend starting with WP Super Cache. You may also try increasing the PHP memory limit – this guide has more info on how to do this.

And finally, are running into this issue anywhere else on your site, or just on the community event submission page?

    Hallo Olaf,

Sie können den QR-Code mit dieser Erweiterung entfernen (die aktuelle Version kann hier heruntergeladen werden). Bitte probieren Sie es aus und sagen Sie mir Bescheid, ob es für Sie funktioniert.

    Vielen Dank,

    Jennifer

Awesome, thanks so much for sharing that! I’m sure other users will find it helpful 🙂

Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. If you run into any other issues, please feel free to open up a new thread!

Unfortunately there is not currently a way for each individual person checking people in to see who they themselves checked in, but a list of attendees indicating which were checked in and which were not will still be available after the event.

You can export a list of attendees as a CSV file. 🙂

    Hi Jan,

I’m sorry that Image Widget Plus didn’t have what you were looking for. I went ahead and processed the refund.

We are always looking to improve our plugins, so if there were features missing that you would like to see added, could you please let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum? This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

If there is anything that we can help you with in the future, please let us know!

    Thanks,

    Hello,

I’m glad that you were able to get it working again with a downgrade…we have actually confirmed this issue as a bug in the system. We’re working on getting this fixed, but unfortunately I don’t have a timeline at the moment as to when this will be resolved. However, I did link this thread to our internal ticket for this, so as soon we have an update, we’ll let you know here.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and thank you for your patience while we work on getting this resolved!

    Hello,

I’m sorry that the update isn’t working for you, but I’ll be happy to help you get this figured out.

It looks like the key that you have entered is correct, so I would first try removing it and deregistering your site, then re-adding the key to see if that makes a difference. If not, I can issue you a new key.

In the meantime, you can also update manually by following these instructions.

Regarding Filter Bar, I don’t see a license for that extension on this account. Did you purchase it with a different one? If so, I would recommend following the same steps I outlined above for this extension, but you will need to log in to the account you purchased it with to get the correct key.

Please let me know if this works!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
