Recurring events are miltiplying over night

I started with 2,100 events 5 days ago. Haven’t added any, yet now I have almost 13,000. It appears to be happening with recurring events.

Any idea what is going on? I am new so maybe I am doing something wrong.

First, can you please share your system info with me?

Can you also send a screenshot of all of the settings that you have in the TIME & DATE section for this event? If you are replying via email, attachments will not come through. You will need to upload this directly to the thread.

We figured it out. We are new and weren’t using the “Clean Up Recurring Events After” function correctly. We have lots of these and no need to keep older ones. Now we have them limited to one month. We will write a script to remove our mistakes from the db and I think we’ll be good to go.

Awesome, I’m glad to hear you got it figured out!

I would recommend taking a look at our new user primer – it has lots of good info on getting up and running with Pro 🙂
