    Hi Kyle,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins!

    You do not need Events Calendar Pro in order to use Eventbrite Tickets. However, as you pointed out, Pro does add additional features such as views (week, photo, and map) and shortcodes.

    Eventbrite Tickets does require our free events plugin, The Events Calendar. So, as long as you have this installed and active on your site, you’ll be all set to start using Eventbrite Tickets 🙂

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Eventbrite Tickets or Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    This option only appears when you require users to login to purchase tickets under Events > Settings > Tickets > Login Requirements – if you disable this, then this message will disappear.

    If you still want to require users to login, then you can hide the message with CSS:

    #tribe-events-content .tribe-link-view-attendee {
    display: none;
    }

    Please let me know if this works for you!

    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get this figured out.

    First, can you please update to 4.4.24.2? If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.

    If this doesn’t help, can you try running through these steps to test for any conflicts with your theme and other plugins? It could be that the current version is not getting along well with something else on your site. If you don’t have a testing site already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

    You can also check for Javascript errors on the page by right-clicking, clicking “Inspect”, and looking in the console. If you do see any errors there while trying to recreate this issue, please copy/paste them here.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    This is unfortunately a known issue that we are working on getting resolved. In the meantime, we do have a workaround.

    Following the instructions in our themer’s guide, you can do a template override of the orders-edit-meta.php template found at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/tickets-plus. You’ll want to paste this code into your copy.

    I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope this helps get things up and running until we can release a fix. I linked this thread to our internal ticket for this issue –  as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Bob,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins!

    We do not currently offer discounts for non-profits, but we do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program that provides a free (unsupported) license for Events Calendar Pro or Event Tickets Plus to approved organizations.

    You would not need to purchase two licenses to be able to add our plugins on a testing site as well – this article has some more details on how this would work. Event Aggregator is actually a service that works with The Events Calendar, our free events plugin, and the Personal license is good for up to 10 domains at one time, so no worries there! Since you will be using the same domain, you shouldn’t run into any issues here.

    If you set up a scheduled import from a Google calendar and select Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source in the Event Aggregator settings, then the changes in the Google calendar will be made in the events on your site.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Aggregator or Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you’re having a hard time getting set up with Event Tickets Plus, but I’ll be happy to help you out 🙂

    1. Can you please provide some more details on what you would like to change about the look of the ticket table so that I can point you in the right direction? For the styling, you can add some custom CSS, and for the layout/content, you can do a template override. Our themer’s guide has some info on doing template overrides, and this particular template can be found at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php.
    2. Are you referring to adding tickets to pages instead of just on event pages? If so, you can enable other post types under Events > Settings > Tickets > Post types that can have tickets. The option to create tickets will appear on the edit screen for all enabled post types.
    3. I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to here…tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, so you can typically use tickets in the same way as other WooCommerce products.
    4. This button comes from Event Tickets Plus. It can be changed by:
      1. Customizing the language file
      2. Using a snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

    Please let me know if this helps and if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins!

    You are correct that importing events to/from Eventbrite requires Eventbrite Tickets, not Event Aggregator. To use Eventbrite Tickets, you do need The Events Calendar (our base events plugin, which is free), but you do not need to use Events Calendar Pro for Eventbrite Tickets to work.

    However, Pro does add a lot of great features, such as recurring events and shortcodes. We do not currently have any bundles/discounts for just those two, but I would recommend signing up for our newsletter – we do occasionally run promotions, and this is the best way to find out about them!

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Eventbrite Tickets or Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Rich,

    Thanks for checking out our plugins!

    You could create an event/post for each class, then add a ticket for each session (time slot) to the event/post. You can also set a capacity for each ticket, preventing any more registrations for that ticket once the capacity has been reached. This functionality is available in both Event Tickets, which offers RSVP-style tickets, and Event Tickets Plus, which lets you sell tickets.

    However, ensuring that users select a class for each time slot is not built-in functionality for Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus. You would need to do a customization to get this set up, or you could also take a look at some third-party extensions for bundling products – Event Tickets Plus integrates with WooCommerce, so this ticket type is actually a WooCommerce simple product (vs the RSVP tickets in Event Tickets). This means that tickets generally work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions, such as the ones listed here.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Amanda,

    I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue…just to clarify, are you using one of the widgets (or widget shortcodes) that came with The Events Calendar/Events Calendar Pro, or are you using a widget from your theme to display events?

    If you’re using one from our plugins, can you please send me a screenshot of the settings that you have for that widget (under Appearance > Widgets)? If not, then I’m afraid we are a bit limited in the support that we can provide for one of your theme’s widgets, as I am not familiar with that theme or how it is generating the feed.

    However, I took a look at your homepage, and I am only seeing upcoming events on my end – were you able to get this resolved?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Tommy,

    I’m glad that this is working on the main events page! For the pages with the shortcode, try adding this:

    #tribe-events-header .tribe-events-sub-nav {
    overflow: initial;
    }

    I tested out the navigation issue and was able to recreate this in month view in my local environment. I went ahead and logged this in our system for our developers to look into. This thread is linked to our internal ticket, so as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved!

    Please let me know if you have any questions and if the above CSS helps 🙂

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for clarifying what you’re looking for…I believe this snippet will do the trick:

    // Limit the week view hours
    function tribe_limit_week_view_hours($hours) {
    foreach ($hours as $hour => $formatted) {
    if ($hour >= 7 && $hour <= 21) {
    $limited_hours[$hour]=$formatted;
    }
    }
    return $limited_hours;
    }
    add_filter('tribe_events_week_get_hours', 'tribe_limit_week_view_hours');

    Can you try adding that to the functions.php file of your child theme and let me know if it works for you?

    No problem! You might also want to take a look at Filter Bar, which adds some additional options for filtering (including categories) and gives you options in the settings to enable/disable each of the filters. You can see how it works over on our demo site wpshindig.com. This article has some screenshots and info on what it looks like on the backend.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Filter Bar for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Hi Kevin,

    Event Tickets Plus does not currently have this functionality built-in, but you might be able to get this working with a third-party extension, such as one of the following:

    WC Role Based Price

    Dynamic Pricing

    WooCommerce Memberships

    Tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, so they typically work pretty well with WooCommerce extensions. However, you would need to test it out to make sure that you can get it working the way you need.

    We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Jennifer
