BlockedHi TK,
Thanks so much for those details and for your patience while we were looking into this. I’ve attempted to replicate this on my own local environment and with the events ID provided, there are possibly thousands of events which is causing a memory allocation error. I suspect this may be related to the reason your events aren’t importing too.
A few things I’d like to try:
1. Check with your host to increase both your max_execution_time and default_socket_timeout settings. We can try to increase the time available for the importer to work its magic.
2. Give our beta version of the Facebook add-on a try which includes a few improvements when handling large event imports.
Let me know what you think about giving those things a try. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,

BlockedHi Joe,
Thanks for getting in touch! We don’t have a CSV exporter built into the plugin itself but you can export your events using the WordPress exporting at:
Tools > Export > WordPress (installs the exporter plugin if it’s not already)
Once you have your XML file of data, you can convert that over to a CSV file. For this you might try searching for an XML to CSV script online.
I hope that helps. Feel free to respond back here if you have any more questions about that or open up a new thread if you have new questions. 🙂

BlockedHi Ray,
Thanks for the follow up. I haven’t come across any other reported issues for these errors unfortunately. If your in-house developers are able to pinpoint the issue as originating from TEC, it would be awesome if you could swing back by here and let us know so that we can look into it further.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do in the mean time.

BlockedHi Spencer,
It’s good to hear from you! Right now we don’t have a feature that will support a multi-option/purchase single ticket like that. But I think it’s a great idea. As it is right now, your best bet will be to create separate tickets for your separate days/times/prices.
There is a User Voice submission requesting this very feature though so it’s definitely something we’re keeping an eye on. It would be awesome if you could add your voice about it over there too.
Sorry I couldn’t give a better solution right now but let me know if you have any other questions or if I can help with anything else.

BlockedHi Andreas,
Thanks for the quick response. If you’re not comfortable editing or creating your own custom queries, then you could just link to your event categories.
From “Event > Event Categories”, hover over the event you’d like to display and right click on “view”. Then you can copy the event category link and add it to your site navigation, sidebar, posts, or wherever you’d like your user to have access to it.
I hope that helps get things started.

BlockedHurrah! Glad to hear that! Thanks for marking this thread as resolved. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to open up a new one.

BlockedHi Andreas!
Welcome to the forums. That’s a great question and I’m happy to help out with it.
First thing I’d like to recommend is to check our Crafting Custom Event Queries article. That should give you a pretty good idea about how you can use the tribe_get_events() function to display your events in a number of different ways.
For example, to display events from a particular category, you can try doing something like:

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or if I can help with anything else.

BlockedHi Nancy,
It’s great to hear from you! I’m happy to give a hand. 🙂
I can see how that can be a headscratcher if the option to automatically replace empty fields with default values toggle isn’t selected. Double check that you have that selected at:
Events > Settings > Default Content > Options
Let me know how that goes.

BlockedHi Max,
It’s great to hear from you again! I think that’s a really great suggestion and one that we might be able to look into for a future update. At this point though, it would require customization that’s a bit out of scope of the support we’re able to provide here.
I see that this has been brought up over on our User Voice page though. It would be great if you could add your interest for this feature if you have a moment.
I apologize that I couldn’t help much more in the mean time but please let me know if there’s anything else I can give a hand with.

BlockedHi Michael,
Thanks a million for your patience. I can see now what you mean. The link you’re having trouble with is in the navigation at the top labeled “POST TO CALENDAR”. And the link it’s generating is stripping out the forward slashes like this:
http://www.yourwebsite.com/eventscommunityadd
Can you go into a little more details about how that link is getting added in your WordPress menu system? This system is located at:
WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
I tried to re-create this problem but wasn’t able to. Here are the steps I took:
- I copied the add event link that’s provided in Events > Settings > Community
- Navigated to Appearance > Menus
- Selected “Custom Links” and pasted the link in the URL input area
- Added the link text “Add Event” and click “Add to Menu”.
When I check this link in my navigation, it’s functioning as expected.
Can you be more specific about how you’re adding that link to the navigation at the top?
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,

BlockedHi Juan,
It’s my pleasure! I’m going to mark this thread as resolved but if you have any other questions, we’re happy to help. It might be better to open up a new forum thread though in case I happen to be away and not able to respond right away. 🙂
Thanks again for checking out the plugins!

BlockedHi Nicole,
Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, this is the way that the calendar view functions. Changing that behavior would require customization that’s a bit out of scope of what we’re able to provide here on the support forums. As an alternative, you could set your default view as List which will display your events in the behavior that you’re after (Events > Settings > Display > Default View).
I also want to suggest adding this as a future option to our User Voice page. This is where we’re prioritizing feature requests and getting them added to future releases if possible.
I’m sorry I couldn’t help further with that but let me know if there’s anything else I might be able to give a hand with.
Kind Regards,
JamiJami
BlockedThanks for the update, Ron. I wonder if maybe the previous plugin update hadn’t updated entirely from a site timeout or connection disruption causing some odd behavior. But I’m happy to hear that re-installing the plugin sorted things out!
Thanks for marking this as resolved. I’ll go ahead and close the ticket as well. If you have any other question, please don’t hesitate to start a new thread.

BlockedHi Gavin,
Thanks for getting in touch with us about this. I can certainly see how that might not be the ideal behavior you’re after. To rule out a few variables, I’m hoping we can start troubleshooting by having you switch to the Twenty Thirteen theme and disabling all plugins except Tribe Events plugins. After you’ve done that, can you check if the page is still redirecting?
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,

BlockedHi Allen,
