ParticipantI have the latest version of Events Calendar & ECPro (installed & updated today). I don’t see any settings or have any of the functionality (like recurring events) of the Pro version. Cannot input license key either. Also seeing: Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.
When I click Please Update Now, I get:
The plugin is at the latest version.April 29, 2015 at 12:54 pm #959359Jami
BlockedHi Ron,
Welcome to our support forum! I’m happy to help out with this.
The first thing I’d like to do is check if you’re updated to the latest version of WordPress. It looks like you might be on version 4.1.4 which is quite a few versions behind what’s currently available (4.2.1).
After you’ve checked that and updated if necessary, could you go ahead and switch to the Twenty Thirteen theme and disable all plugins except Tribe Events plugins?
I’m just going to run through the steps listed on our Testing for Conflicts doc with you to see if we can’t nail down the issue.
Let me know how that goes!
Kind Regards,

ParticipantI cloned the site (can’t afford for it to be down) and updated WordPress to 4.2.1, disabled all the plugins except the basic EC. When ECPro was activated, the message “Your version of The Events Calendar is not up-to-date with one of your The Events Calendar add-ons. Please update now.” Again, if I click ‘Please Update Now’, I get:
The plugin is at the latest version. If I deactivate ECPro, the message disappears. Seems to have been related to the version of EC that was installed.I then re-installed EC (v.3.9.3) reactivated at it worked. So far everything seems ok.

BlockedThanks for the update, Ron. I wonder if maybe the previous plugin update hadn’t updated entirely from a site timeout or connection disruption causing some odd behavior. But I’m happy to hear that re-installing the plugin sorted things out!
Thanks for marking this as resolved. I’ll go ahead and close the ticket as well. If you have any other question, please don’t hesitate to start a new thread.
Kind Regards,
