How to show only events from one single categorie in the blog loop

we want to show onle events from one single categrie in the blog loop. In the Moment it shows every event. Can you help us with this problem.

Welcome to the forums. That’s a great question and I’m happy to help out with it.

First thing I’d like to recommend is to check our Crafting Custom Event Queries article. That should give you a pretty good idea about how you can use the tribe_get_events() function to display your events in a number of different ways.

For example, to display events from a particular category, you can try doing something like:

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for the quick response. If you’re not comfortable editing or creating your own custom queries, then you could just link to your event categories.

From “Event > Event Categories”, hover over the event you’d like to display and right click on “view”. Then you can copy the event category link and add it to your site navigation, sidebar, posts, or wherever you’d like your user to have access to it.
