KeymasterHi Ben,
I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue.
Were you able to try some of the suggestions I mentioned in my previous reply?
Alternatively, can you try using a fresh WordPress install and importing the content that you need there?
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jacqui,
I understand. In that case, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
In the meantime, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Russell,
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem.
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Gopi,
If you’d like, I can refund you for Events Calendar PRO and then you can go ahead and purchase the Importer Bundle.
Let me know if you’d like to go that route and I’ll process your refund for you!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sarah,
Yes, the idea here is that you would create that file structure within your theme. This way, your changes would not be lost when you need to update your plugin.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Terrence,
I’m not aware of any common issues that could cause this specific error. There are a number of factors that may have caused this to occur.
In any case, I’m glad to hear that things are working again, you are welcome back in our support forums any time!
Since you marked this thread as Resolved, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!

KeymasterHi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out again here!
Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
To safely modify the ticket email I would recommend you to make a copy of event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php and place that copy in [your-theme]/tribe-events/tickets/email.php
Open the file you just copied to your theme’s directory and modify lines you want.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ben,
It seems that this issue is related to WordPress as a whole, rather than an issue with our plugin. Is that correct?
You can try implementing some of the solutions mentioned in the WordPress.org forum on this issue:
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jacqui,
Thanks for running through that.
Just to clarify, your website is set to America/New York timezone, and your event is also set to America/New York timezone, is that correct?
It looks like your PHP timezone is set to UTC. Can you try changing that timezone to America/New York?
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
