KeymasterHi Lucy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
If you do not have a license to Events Calendar PRO, would you mind posting this question in our WordPress.org forums?
Make sure you have everything spelled correctly (I see a “-” in there, and I’m not sure if it’s intended) as well and here’s our Themer’s Guide for reference: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Christine,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
In order to change the information in the Month View on the calendar for each event, you may want to take a look at the month/single-event.php file in Events Calendar. There is extensive documentation in that file, which should be a good place to get you started.
In order to customize the calendar widget, you can take a look at the following article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-calendar-widget/
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Randyl,
Thanks for letting me know. I’m sorry the information that I provided you with did not give you the results you were looking for. I have altered the snippet that I provided in the previous response to you so that it is tailored to the words you are looking to change. I just tested this on my site and it works perfectly. You can copy and paste this into your theme’s functions.php file. You may not need the first <?php if your theme already has it.

KeymasterHi Warren,
Just to clarify, the file I was referring to is located in the Events Calendar, not Events Calendar PRO. Here is the file structure I see:

Let me know if you can see this as well, and if not, we’ll get to the bottom of this!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Kristiina,
Thanks for your feedback, I’m sorry that you haven’t gotten the results that you are looking for yet!
We are limited by our Support Policy (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/) in terms of how much we can help you customize your code.
Here is a forum post where someone asked for a similar customization, and there is a snippet provided here as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/show-the-date-range-for-recurring-events/
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know how it goes!

Jaime
September 28, 2017 at 5:03 am in reply to: Showing Event Date (from a series) on the New Order email and shopping cart page #1356013Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Patrick,
Thanks for the update!
I understand that you are only seeing the date of the 1st event in the series with this snippet. This code does print the start date of the event, which may be why you are seeing what you are seeing. You are welcome to modify that snippet as you see fit. You can replace
tribe_get_start_datewith another option that may better suit your needs. Here is some documentation with a few options for how you can display the date: https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=get_date&submit=Search&post_type%5B%5D=wp-parser-function&post_type%5B%5D=wp-parser-hookI’d love to continue to help you as much as possible, though we are limited with customizations by our support policy: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

KeymasterHi Rochelle,
Thanks for reaching out again!
You can change this setting in your global WordPress settings by going to Settings>General, and scrolling down to the bottom. You can change Week Starts On with the dropdown and Save Changes.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

September 27, 2017 at 7:43 am in reply to: Customer Needs to Update/Change Ticket Information (Feildsets) #1355544Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi again Randyl!
Yes, there is a way for customers to edit their own information. By default, it is disabled, so you just have to change a few options to make this happen. This article can walk you through the steps to allow customers the ability to make changes: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#editing-attendee-info
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

KeymasterHi Randyl,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can use the snippet in the following article to help you change the text: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Another option would be to use a third-party plugin to change the string. You can use Say What? (https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/) to help you change the string. If you go this route, the text domain is ‘event-tickets’.
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Marek,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
You can try something like this to achieve your desired results:
li.tribe-events-nav-previous a, li.tribe-events-nav-next a {
font-family: Helvetica;
font-size: 40px;
}
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes! Thanks,

September 27, 2017 at 7:13 am in reply to: Individual Inventory for RSVP on Event Tickets Pro #1355519Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
I completely understand your desire for this feature and although that functionality is still not technically available, there is a workaround that you can use for now:
- Create your event series
- Use the “break event” from series on all the events in the series
- Create tickets in all of these individual events
Feel free to vote on or add this idea to our feature requests as well: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
I know this isn’t perfect, but I hope it helps for now! Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
September 27, 2017 at 6:42 am in reply to: show the whole week from morning to evening without having to scroll #1355504Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Alyson,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
In order to change the default end of day time, you can go to Event Settings>General and change the End of day cutoff to 10pm.
In order to remove the scrolling, you will have to do a theme override. Here is our Themer’s Guide to get your started: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Also, this thread has some customizations that may help to point you in the right direction: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/week-view-with-h2-and-no-scolling/

Thanks,

KeymasterHi Jaap,
Yes, you’re right. I do see that you have Events Calendar PRO installed, but I do not see your license showing up. Have you registered your license? Also, do you have default currency settings available under Event Settings>General?
I apologize for any confusion, we’ll try to sort this out asap!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Pete,
I’m glad I was able to help you so far! Let’s see what else we can do.
As far as changing the text, you can add a bit of custom code to achieve that. Here is an article that can walk you through that process: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Alternatively, you can install a plugin to help you change the text. This may require a bit of trial and error as it is case-sensitive. The text-domain to use is event-tickets. Here is the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/
As far as adding a ticket purchase form in other places, you will have to do a theme override. The best way for me to explain this is to link you to a previous thread that asked a similar question, so that you can read through a few of the steps to take. Here it is: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-can-i-add-a-buy-ticket-button-n-the-event-page/
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
