ParticipantHi all,
I’m hoping i have an easy question,
Is there a way of placing the event ticket purchase form on other pages, say perhaps the front page of the website?
or more importantly for me on a course list page under each course, see website: http://hypnobirthingsa.com.au/events/list/I’ve also noticed i have a large whitespace gap on my even page between the event description and and the buy ticket form, is there an obvious way to remove this that i have missed.
see website: http://hypnobirthingsa.com.au/event/hypnobirthing-course/
my apologies for the newbie questions.
thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer.

KeymasterHi Peter,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You have the ability to place event tickets on any post type that you have checked under Event Settings->Tickets, as shown here:

Any post type that you have checked will show the Event Tickets fields for you to fill out and publish on that post or page.
As far as the large white space you are referring to, I am not seeing anything obvious. If you still see it, would you mind sending me a screenshot of what you are referring to? In between the description and the tickets, there is a large map. Perhaps if that didn’t load, you may see a large white space. Let me know if I’m missing something!
Let me know how it goes and if you need any further clarification!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantThank you so much for the prompt response Jaime,
can i ask one last quick question –
Is there a way i can change the title text in the form from ‘Tickets’ to ‘book your place today’ or something like that.Is there a way i can put a ticket purchase form on the below page under each course (just below or above the read more)
http://hypnobirthingsa.com.au/events/list/
I must admit, i’m really quite simple when it comes to web design, so i dont even understand how this page is generated as it isn’t an actual page.Again thank you in advance.
appreciate any assistance you can offer.

KeymasterHi Pete,
I’m glad I was able to help you so far! Let’s see what else we can do.
As far as changing the text, you can add a bit of custom code to achieve that. Here is an article that can walk you through that process: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Alternatively, you can install a plugin to help you change the text. This may require a bit of trial and error as it is case-sensitive. The text-domain to use is event-tickets. Here is the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/
As far as adding a ticket purchase form in other places, you will have to do a theme override. The best way for me to explain this is to link you to a previous thread that asked a similar question, so that you can read through a few of the steps to take. Here it is: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-can-i-add-a-buy-ticket-button-n-the-event-page/
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
