Change the word Tickets to Registration Fees

I’d like to change the word Tickets to Registration Fees as we run a competition and we don’t really sell “tickets”

Another option would be to use a third-party plugin to change the string.  You can use Say What? (https://wordpress.org/plugins/say-what/) to help you change the string.  If you go this route, the text domain is ‘event-tickets’.

Hi Randyl,

Thanks for letting me know.  I’m sorry the information that I provided you with did not give you the results you were looking for.  I have altered the snippet that I provided in the previous response to you so that it is tailored to the words you are looking to change.  I just tested this on my site and it works perfectly.  You can copy and paste this into your theme’s functions.php file.  You may not need the first <?php if your theme already has it.

Hi Jaime, I tried to add the snippet and now have created an error in my
wordpress login and theme and cannot login to my wordpress admin panel.
Receiving this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’, expecting ‘)’ in
/hermes/bosnacweb01/bosnacweb01bf/b2056/sl.woodburyballet/
theconnecticutclassic.org/wp2018/wp/wp-content/themes/mxp_base_theme/functions.php
on line 59

is it at all possible to help with this?
