ParticipantWe are looking for the file that controls the layout, our side bar has gone below the footer and i cant seem to find the file that controls the layout and display of the events page,
i would like to do 2 things,
1. remove the sidebar information from this page template (we dont want to remove the widget from the theme as we still want it to display on the main blog.
2. make the footer extend the full length of the screen as it does in the rest of our theme.please assist

KeymasterHi Warren,
Welcome and thanks for reaching out!
The Default Events Template is located here: /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.php
Also, here is a link to our Themer’s Guide, which can walk you through how to safely customize our plugins, as well as direct you to where various files are located: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Let me know how it goes and if anything else comes up along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jamie,
I saw that in a thread somewhere, the only thing is I don’t have a file called default-template.php.
I have everything else everyone talks about but not that..

KeymasterHi Warren,
Just to clarify, the file I was referring to is located in the Events Calendar, not Events Calendar PRO. Here is the file structure I see:

Let me know if you can see this as well, and if not, we’ll get to the bottom of this!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
