  • Hi Rana,

I’m sorry that this isn’t working for you.  A few more things of note:

    • The menu at the top of your page is still linking to the /events slug, but I think you may have changed the slug since then, so I’m not sure which slug should be linked to your events
    • There is an error with Facebook Events being blocked by the client, is this what you are using to import events?
    • The other issues are related to a favicon, which may be the actual reason why the page isn’t loading.  Did you have the page configured this way when it was working?  You can follow the link in the errors to find if removing them helps.  You may have to do some additional research about how to fix that if it is the issue.  The error states that the page was loaded, but the insecure image is preventing it from showing up.  If this is the case, it has nothing to do with our plugin, but rather with the insecure image.  This is the link: http://studypedia.com/studypedia-custom/images/facny-shape.png
    • Lastly, if you are really interested in a refund instead, you can fill out a refund request form here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

I hope this helps to point you in the right direction, please let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Incorrect currency symbol. $ instead of € #1354916

    Hi Jaap,

    Thanks for reaching out!

This is a bug that we are actually aware of and intend to fix in an upcoming release, although I cannot give you an ETA at this time.

This bug exists when someone has Event Tickets Plus, without Events Calendar.  For now, you can install the following extension as a plugin, which should allow you to add currency settings:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2015/05/tribe-ext-ticket-currency-settings-1-0-0.zip

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Stan,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Using that shortcode, you can add an excerpt clause, like this: [tribe_events view=”lists” excerpt=’yes’], although you can specify the excerpt length with this addition.

You can also try adding this plugin and setting an excerpt length here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-shortcode/

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Find Events Bar – Search Multiple Months #1354882

    Hi Christina,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

One way to search by keyword within multiple months is to use the List View.  In Month View, it will only display the available events within that month, but in List View, you will be able to see all events that match that keyword.

You can change the Default View in Event Settings>Display, so that people see the List View (if you want) when they visit the calendar.

I hope this helps!  Let me know if anything else comes up 🙂

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: stop events overlapping in week view #1354870

    Hi Jane,

    Thanks for reaching out again!

Here is a snippet that may help with the way that events are displayed in Week View:

    https://gist.github.com/vicskf/6361b229dc7e2d6aa9e6283781032db1

You can add this to the WordPress Customizer or to your child theme CSS stylesheet.

You can also add this idea to our feature requests, as we take our customer feedback into consideration: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Hi Rana,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing the issue.  Unfortunately, we are not authorized to go in and fix the issue on your site.  I can make a few recommendations and give you some troubleshooting steps that you can go through to try to fix the issue:

    • You can test for conflicts.  Sometimes a plugin or theme interacts with our plugin and causes things to not work properly.  You can follow the instructions in the following article to test for conflicts: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
    • I took a look at your settings and your Single Event slug is the same as your Events slug.  You can try changing the Single Event slug to “event” instead of “events” and see if that makes a difference.  You may want to test this in a private window afterwards, so that the browser doesn’t automatically use the old URL.
    • You should update your plugins, especially The Events Calendar PRO, to ensure everything is running optimally.

Let me know how all of this goes and if you have any other questions along the way!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Ultimate bundle for multisite license #1354845

    Hi Tanya,

It sounds like the Personal or Business License might be the best solutions for you right now.  You can use the Business License license on up to 3 sites, and you can always upgrade later if you end up needing more.  The cost for the Ultimate Bundle with a Business License is $829.  The cost for the Personal License, which you can use on one site, is $499.  Here is the link to the Ultimate Bundle: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/bundle-ultimate/

This would be a different process than if you “network activate” your license, which is what you would do with a Multisite License, as I had quoted you in my previous response.  In this case, you would perform manual updates to your plugin.  Here is more information on that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

I hope this helps to clarify things for you!  Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: The Events – Events Tickets Plus Crash #1354834

    Hi Bruno,

I’m glad to hear that you have resolved the issue with a new event, at least for now.

If you are having an issue with all of your payments coming through, this may be a result of the way that you have things configured, and is a question you may raise with PayPal or WooCommerce.  If some payments are coming through, there may be an issue with particular customers.  Either way, this is out of our jurisdiction, and may be a question for WooCommerce or PayPal, depending on what is going on.

Please let me know if you have any other questions related to this issue that we can help with!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Social Sharing Cards Events Home Page #1354830

    Hi James,

When it comes to social sharing on the main events page, you should be able to use the same solutions that were outlined in the article that I linked you to.  Have you given this a try?  Just keep in mind that these are third-party plugins, and we are not associated with them, but these suggestions may help to steer you in the right direction.  Out of the box, The Events Calendar is not integrated with social media sharing, but the above options are something that you can try.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
