KeymasterHi Amy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
In order to list recurring events only once on your site, you can go to Events Settings < General, and check the box next to Recurring event instances. You can also check the box under it, to allow users to choose whether to see all recurring events instances.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
November 27, 2017 at 7:20 am in reply to: Event Aggregator can integrate with Community Events? #1392412Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Andrei,
Thanks for reaching out here and for your interest in our products!
With Event Aggregator, you can import events from a variety of sources right into your Events Calendar.
In what way were you looking to integrate Event Aggregator with Community Events? Both plugins can add events to your calendar, though Community Events is most often done through other users on the front end, while Event Aggregator is imports events from other sources through the back end of the site.
Please let me know if you need any further clarity on this issue!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Devin,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Although we cannot personally help with such extensive customizations as per our Support Policy, I’d be happy to help point you in the right direction.
A good place to start would be to look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates to edit in order to modify the Map View.

Additionally, if this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

KeymasterHi Andrei,
Thanks so much for reaching out again!
You can try some of the steps outlined in this forum post to help you achieve this:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/google-maps-disable-scroll/
You can also check out our Themer’s Guide, which may be able to point you in the right direction as to which templates and views can be modified to achieve this customization:

KeymasterHi Andrei,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
If you check Show Google Map and Show Google Maps Link in your Edit Event screen, when you view a single event, you will see a Google Map link. If you click on this link, it will open a larger map in a new window.
In order to change the wording of that Google Map link to View Larger Map, you can try altering this snippet:

KeymasterHi Mic,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
It sounds like you may be interested in our Filter Bar plugin. With this plugin, you have the option to add locations, event categories, and other filters to your Search Bar at the top of your calendar.
You can check it out on our demo site here.
Let me know what you think and if you have any other questions about it!
Thanks,
Jaime
November 27, 2017 at 6:34 am in reply to: The word "free" keeps showing up in addition to price #1392356Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
By default, the word “Free” appears when you select RSVP, because it assumes that the cost of the ticket will be free with an RSVP.
There is not a way to remove the word Free without removing the whole cost field in CSS. There may be a way to do this using some Javascript, like this, but I’m not sure if this is a method that you are interested in. Is there a reason why you don’t want to call it a ticket? If you use a ticket, instead of an RSVP, you will not see the word FREE appear.
You can also try a plugin like Say What? in order to change the string, if that is an option that you are interested in.
Let me know what you think!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Mario,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
1. With Event Tickets Plus, you are correct that you cannot add a price to the additional Attendee Information. You can add your additional options as separate tickets, so that customers can purchase these additional options in addition to their tickets.
Alternatively, you can try to sell the tickets through WooCommerce, and purchase a WooCommerce extension that can give customers the options to have add-ons in their cart:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/
2. I’m not entirely sure how you were creating your tickets, but in most cases, you will want to do this through an event page or a ticket page, rather than a product page. Perhaps the link I provided above can provide some clarity on how to go through this procedure using the WooCommerce Product Page.
Tickets/events are not automatically deleted after an event, though you can do so manually, and you can choose how frequently events should be cleaned up in your Events Settings.
3. With Event Aggregator, you can certainly import events that have tickets associated with them. Please see this resource for how to do so:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
I hope this help to provide some clarity to you, please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with your event tickets. As a first step, can you update your Events Calendar related plugins and see if the issue still exists?
One thing you can do in the meantime is to alter the total_sales custom field on the WooCommerce Product page that is associated with the ticket that you are trying to edit. You can change that number to reflect the actual number of attendees that you have, which will then change what you see in your Attendees tab.
You can also alter the ticket stock on the Edit Event page, where you edit your ticket.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Kris,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
It sounds like what you are looking for will require some extensive customizations. As per our Support Policy, we cannot provide customization assistance, however I’d be happy to help point you in the right direction.
Here is our Themer’s Guide, which may help to show you which templates can be copied and edited to achieve the results that you are looking for:

Also, please feel free to vote on this feature request, so that we can gauge customer interest:
You may be able to achieve part of this with the assistance of a third party plugin, such as DK PDF, although I cannot guarantee anything, as we are not associated with this plugin in any way.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

KeymasterHi Martine,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately, it is default behavior for Ongoing Events to appear first in Day View. In order to switch this up, it would require some custom coding on your end.

Also, feel free to vote on this feature request, as we often implement features based on popularity:
The other problem we have is when creating a single, non re-occurring event, and then paste the link to Facebook, the post on Facebook is showing it as a recurring event with numerous days rather than just the single event day.
Where are you posting the event in Facebook? Would you mind sharing the URL to the event on your site, and provide some more information about how that event is added to Facebook?
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Robert,
Thanks so much for providing me with that information. Unfortunately there isn’t really a cure for recurring events with “Once” custom rules. You have a few options that may help to speed up the event on the backend:
- You can delete the whole event and recreate it
- You can delete the exclusions that have past
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
