KeymasterHi Clifford,
Thanks for that information. Unfortunately events from Eventbrite can only be imported using our Eventbrite Tickets plugin at this time, which is why you have been having issues making it work with Event Aggregator.
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
February 7, 2018 at 10:33 am in reply to: Event Calendar Times Displaying Incorrectly in Google Search Results #1446626Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Angela,
As a next step, I’d suggest taking a single event as a sample and put it through Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool to see how it digests that URL.
If you do find some discrepancies there, please share a screenshot of the inaccurate test results and the URL that was tested.
Please also provide a screenshot of this event’s wp-admin event edit screen so I can see its date and time settings.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sami,
Thanks for providing me with this information. I have set up a new Contributor role on my test site, and these were my findings:
The button to the right on the Admin screen does not appear for the Contributor role.
However, if you go to Bulk Actions > Check-in, you can select users and check them in, achieving the same results.
Although this looks different than the Admin screen, it still checks in users.
Let me know if you are seeing the same results!
Thanks,
Jaime
February 7, 2018 at 9:55 am in reply to: tribe_event_list shortcode with category show events in child categories #1446575Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Joakim,
Thanks for providing me with that information. I can confirm that when using the shortcode, if you only select the parent category, the events under the child category will still show up. This is expected behavior, and makes sense, because they are part of the parent category.
If you would not like the child category events to show up, you can set them as a separate parent category instead.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Gabriel,
Could you provide me with your slow/duplicate queries from Query Monitor?
Could you also share an export of your database? Most hosts provide a means of doing this and you could then upload it here in zip format as a private reply.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi John,
Thanks for providing me with all of this information. After changing your slug, having the problem resolved, can you flush your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Aly,
I’m not very familiar with that extension, but it is possible that you will be able to get the two plugins to work well together. I wish I had more information on this topic for you, but it’s really a matter of configuring things to see if they achieve the functionality that you are looking for.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Samantha,
Great, I’m glad we were able to resolve that issue!
As for your other issue, I have taken a look at your site, and I’m not seeing where it says “Featured Events” on your homepage:

If you can point me to where I should be looking, I’ll try to provide you with some CSS assistance. In the meantime, you can check in the WordPress Customizer under The Events Calendar, to see if you can change it there.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Clifford,
Thanks for providing me with that information. It seems that you do not have Eventbrite Tickets enabled on your site. What method are you using to import events from Eventbrite? This may be why you are running into some issues. Are other imports working on your site?
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Patrick,
Sorry that didn’t work for you! Can you provide me with a link to the page where you are trying to hide the details?
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThe Scheduled Imports page lists all of your scheduled imports, and if you tried to create a new Scheduled Import with a source that was already scheduled, you would see an error like this, and you would not be able to create this scheduled import:

I’m not quite clear on where you’d like to create something like this. Are you looking to create something like this in the database? If so, you can create a new database to try to re-create this scenario but unfortunately we cannot provide support for this.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can assist with!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Stephen,
Thanks for your feedback! I’m not able to replicate this issue with WooCommerce. Would you mind opening up a new thread so that we can help you troubleshoot your issue?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Brett,
Thanks for providing me with that information. So it looks like there should be 12 tickets available, correct? It looks like your attendees tab is showing 8 available, which is why it is saying that no more tickets are available.
One thing you can do is to alter the total_sales custom field on the WooCommerce Product page that is associated with the ticket that you are trying to edit. You can change that number to reflect the actual number of attendees that you have, which will then change what you see in your Attendees tab.
You can also alter the ticket stock on the Edit Event page, where you edit your ticket.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
