Payments and additional questions

I realize that you are working on a solution for split payments (I’m eagerly waiting). In the meantime is it possible for the entire payment to go to the event planner? I want event planners to be able to sell their tickets on the site and then once the event has occurred I will collect a fee from them. And is there a time frame on when split payments will be available again?

Also, I would like my site to say “Course” instead of “Events” and “Registration” instead of “Tickets”. How do I do that? I’m a WP noob so any guidance would be appreciated.

I apologize for the delay.  Most of our team was away on the team trip, and we have been experiencing a high volume of threads.

Anyway, unfortunately currently the only way for payments to work is with the Site Admin receiving the payments and manually giving the funds to the event organizer.

You can change the labels on your site with this handy extension:

https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/change-labels-events-venues-organizers/

For any additional text changes, you can modify the snippet provided in the following article:

Is it possible to use Woocommerce Product venders plugin extension to allow event organizers sell tickets?

Hi Aly,

I’m not very familiar with that extension, but it is possible that you will be able to get the two plugins to work well together.  I wish I had more information on this topic for you, but it’s really a matter of configuring things to see if they achieve the functionality that you are looking for.
