KeymasterHi Ilkka,
Unfortunately I cannot view the issue in action, as your site is password-protected. I would recommend checking out our demo site, and view in month view, so that you can see what the functionality is supposed to be.
The issue that you linked to above was related to a plugin conflict, so that is why I asked for you to go through our testing for conflicts procedure.
Another option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Chris,
Thanks for providing us with that information. It appears that geolocation information is being imported for that feed, in addition to the address. This may be causing the issue. Can you try removing the geolocation information, either in your Google Calendar, or on your site, and see if that helps to resolve the issue?
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ron,
Thanks for providing me with that information. So far, I have not been able to replicate this issue. Here are the steps that I’ve taken:
- Create a recurring event with multiple dates in Chrome
- Edit event series to add a category
- View events to see if they remain intact
Please let me know if there are any steps that I am missing. In the meantime, can you take a screenshot of what one of your events looks like on the backend?
In addition, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Dale,
If a ticket to a past event is left in someone’s cart, that can be a loophole into them purchasing the ticket. However, this ticket is marked as Processing, so you can choose to then cancel the order for that purchase.
You can delete the tickets for past events or delete past events so that tickets cannot be purchased for your past events.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tiffany,
As a next step, I would suggest allowing your Venue and Organizer pages to be indexed and optimized. Those pages also display events and since all the content is relevant and properly linked, it can only do good for increasing the visibility of your events.
I’m not exactly an expert on using the Yoast SEO plugin, but I can say that, as you use the configuration wizard, you can allow Events. Venues and Organizers to all be visible in that process.
Each one is a custom post type and making them Visible will instruct Yoast SEO to make those indexable by search crawlers.
In addition, the following links might help to display your events in a Google search:

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Leonardo,
Another thing you can try is to change the location of the log, so add something like this to your theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( 'tribe_file_logger_directory', function() { return '/my/custom/logging/location'; } );Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Andreas,
Okay, to get some information about the issue can you please try downloading this simple plugin called Validate URL:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uwtntzssi47tkmi/validate-url-.7.zip?dl=0
After Activating go to Tools > Validate URL
Enter in these two urls:
As well as these two IP addresses:
And let me know the response code you get.
If none of those are able to connect it means the site is blocked from accessing our servers and you would have to whitelist those ip addresses or check the connection if no sites are accessible such as https://google.com from the validator url check.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Bruce,
I’m only seeing the end of your reply. Did something get cut off when you sent your reply? If so, would you mind re-sending?
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Dale,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Once an event has passed, users should not be able to purchase tickets for that event. As a first troubleshooting step, can you try updating your Events Calendar related plugins to the most recent versions and see if that resolves the issue?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

You can choose to add an additional category to your events when they are imported. You can do that here:
