KeymasterHi Gavin,
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end, with Community Events activated. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Andrew,
You can hide the whole View As section so that users won’t be able to select an option, and they will only be able to see Week View (since that is the only other option). Try something like this:
.tribe-bar-views-inner .tribe-clearfix {
display:none;
}Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Uwe,
Thanks for providing that information. Unfortunately I’m not able to replicate this issue, as things seem to be working as expected with my current setup.
In that case, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Stephan,
No worries, I totally understand where you’re coming from.
Another idea that I had was that you could add some type of disclaimer plugin to the site that you could add to your submission form.
A quick search brought up the following plugins that may be able to help you:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/disclaimer/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ron,
I’m sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the support that you have received so far. You are welcome to open up a new thread with the same issue, although it will go to the end of the list.
If you’d like to continue troubleshooting here, I’d recommend going to a bare install (WordPress theme like twentyseventeen and no other plugins installed) and try to update there.
If you still see the error, I’d recommend temporarily removing any customizations as well. Also, do you have your main calendar page set to the homepage? If so, that may be causing the issue for some reason.
Let me know how all of that goes and if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Without disabling that view completely, it will still be available to view. The CSS can hide the view, but it cannot disable it. Did the code I provide you with hide the List View?
If not, can you provide me with a link to your main calendar page?
Let me know if you have any other quetions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sayuri,
Thanks so much for providing that information.
With Tribe Commerce set up, you can go directly from your event page to your PayPal page for checkout, and then seamlessly back to your website when payment is completed.
Is this how you have things set up currently?
