KeymasterHi Tobias,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Stephan,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can create a custom field and add it to your Community Events Submission Form. From there, you can make the field a Required Field.

KeymasterHi Nathaniel,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for that feature at this time.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

If you go to your Edit Event page, you will see a note under the description which will tell you when the latest edit to the event has been made.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access/) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an affect on a number of our users.
We are currently figuring things out as they continue to evolve with the Facebook Privacy Policy. For now, the best places to check in on the status of our plugin’s access to Facebook are https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy/ and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterGlad we could help, you are welcome back in our support forums any time!
Since this issue has been resolved, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!

KeymasterAnother option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Can you expand one of your tickets and take a screenshot there, so I can see how the ticket is set up?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Andrew,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can try hiding the List View selection with some CSS so that users cannot select it in desktop view. You can try adding something like the following to your WordPress Customizer or to your theme’s stylesheet:
span.tribe-icon-list {
display:none;
}Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime
