    You would need a license for Event Aggregator on each site you wish to import events into. This means you would need to set up a regular import from veilingagenda.nl to verzamelenmagazine.nl and origine.nl. You can only import events into a website in the streamline process you seek using Event Aggregator, thus it would be required on the sites you’re importing events into (which are verzamelenmagazine.nl and origine.nl).

    Do you see any errors on your server’s error log? What about when you add the following lines to your site’s wp-config.php file?

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

    I’m not seeing any logged bugs of users reporting similar instances of not being able to import events past Dec. 31, 2016. I would also set up a test environment with the default WordPress theme and our plugins only, that way you can fully troubleshoot the issue.

    You’ll want to make sure the ‘Create recurring events in advance for’ setting is set to a number great enough that will allow the plugin to create events. I would set it to at least 12.

    It looks like your System Information didn’t come through properly. Can you refer to this guide on sharing your System Information with me and send that over privately?

    It would also be helpful if you could be a little more descriptive about where you’re importing events from (Facebook, Google Calendar, etc), if you’re attempting a one-time import or scheduled import, etc. It’s even better if you can provide the exact step-by-step instructions I need to follow in order to reproduce the duplicate events.

    Lastly, I see you checked ‘Yes’ for both reverting back to the default WordPress theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours while testing the issue, but can you please confirm this?

    Thank you for your patience while we work to identify the conflict and resolution. I can tell you we had a duplicate event issue, but I believe it’s been resolved. So if you’re not running the latest versions of our plugins, please update them and review the Testing for conflicts guide while doing an import to see if the issue persists.

    If so, the next step would be to set up a test site with the default WordPress theme and our plugins only and if the problem still occurs and I’m able to reproduce the behavior, we’ll get a bug log written up and a fix released ASAP!

We have a bug logged resembling what you’ve described, so I’ve gone ahead and added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information.

    If you’re comfortable using CSS, you could use the ‘Inspect’ tool to readjust everything until we can get a fix included in an upcoming release. This Using the ‘Inspect’ tool to make changes with CSS YouTube video is a great example on how to make changes relatively easily.

    Hi Sean,

    Welcome to our Pre-Sales Questions channel and thank you for reaching out! I can’t think of any sites off the top of my head using our plugins to display and charge for rental properties, but I imagine it’s being done somewhere out there. You might want to check out our Showcase page to see if anything resembles what you’re looking for.

    If you think of events as rentals in this scenario, you could theoretically create a rental for each property on the dates it’s available to rent. You would need The Events Calendar for this functionality. From there, you would need Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus so you could charge a fee for each rental property booking.

    An issue I can think of without going too deep is if you have a property available for 4 days, there is really no way for the customer to purchase a booking for 3 days, or any specific number of days for that matter. There might be some limitations which end up requiring additional plugins or custom code.

    Luckily, we have a 30-day money back refund policy, so that should allow you enough time to set everything up and go through the entire process to see if it fits your needs. I hope I’ve helped answer your question and please let me know if you’ve got any more questions or comments. Cheers!

    Sorry to hear you’re having troubles with the recurring events. I would be more than happy to test for any potential bugs, but before doing so, you’ll need to review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out.

    Once we eliminate the potential of a theme and/or plugin conflict, we’ll have a better idea on how to move forward. I recommend bookmarking the Testing for conflicts guide so you can easily refer to it when you think there might be a potential bug. It is a required step to receive support and doing so prior to opening a new thread will save time and allow us to get working on a solution much quicker.

    I notice in your System Information you have the Facebook Events plugin installed on your site. If you’re not aware, we are in the process of retiring the Facebook Events plugin and replacing it with our newest plugin, Event Aggregator.

    You have been granted a license for Event Aggregator and it is set to expire on the same date your Facebook Events license expires. For more information, please review our Moving to Event Aggregator Knowledgebase article and if you run into any issues along the way, please create a separate thread.

    In response to your original issue: can you please clarify where the error/notice is showing? E.g. your server’s error log or in the backend of your WordPress website when logged in as an administrator.

    To continue troubleshooting, you’ll need to review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you learn. Once we identify the source of conflict, we’ll have a better idea on how to proceed.

    Item 1.
    What CSS do I need to change to make the name of the event on the individual race page larger? Right now with the theme I’m using, the race name is smaller than the date/time.

    The best way to go about making these types of changes is to use ‘Inspect’ tool. Check out this YouTube video on Using the ‘Inspect’ tool to make changes with CSS. Let me know if you’re able to get things squared away. I tried finding a race on your site, but wasn’t able to locate one. If you can send a link, I could definitely be of more help.

    Item 2.
    I want an button (or a graphic that I upload) to appear on the top right of every race page (to the right of the event name & date) that says REGISTER NOW FOR THIS RACE. This button will basically open a new tab that takes visitors to the page to register and pay for a race. See my mockup in the attachment.

    I recommend reading over and familiarizing yourself with our Themer’s Guide. I really like referring to this Customizing WordPress #1 – How To Create A Child Theme by LevelUpTuts YouTube video for a visual example of creating and saving template overrides.

    Please note that we’re pretty limited on customization requests, but I’ll do my best to help if you get caught up along the way. For what is covered in the support forums, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.
