    Hi!

    I’ve got a site where I embed a gravity form on my event pages so people can sign up for the event. I’ve got a few hidden fields that I am embedding specific pieces of information once they submit the form. I’ve got the post title and event start date to embed into the form properly using these:

    {embed_post:post_title}
    {embed_post:EventStartDate}

    This populate the title of the event and the event start date into the gravity form. I need to get the location to work but I don’t know how to call it.

    I’ve tried:

    {embed_post:VenueCity}
    {embed_post:_VenueCity}

    Anyone know what the embed parameter is for the venue city?

    Thanks! That’s pretty much what I was looking for. I can’t seem to get the City one to work though.

    This works – {embed_post:EventStartDate}

    For the venue city I’ve tried:

    {embed_post:VenueCity}
    {embed_post:_VenueCity}
    {custom_field:VenueCity}
    {custom_field:_VenueCity}

    Any ideas? Are the Venue post metas available on actual event pages or are they only available on venue pages?

    Hi Nichole,

    Thank you for your patience while I further investigated your questions. Try adding the code found here to your theme’s functions.php file and let me know if you’re able to pull in the venue city. I haven’t tested the code myself, but please give it a shot and reply back with the results. You might need to remove the opening <?php tag from the code provided above.

    Thanks again and have a wonderful rest of your day. Cheers!
