    Hi and welcome πŸ™‚

At this time, it is not possible to import featured events from an iCal source. We do have a feature report to include this functionality in an upcoming release, but I unfortunately do not have any kind of ETA. I included this thread to the logged report which helps increase attention on the matter.

Does the issue mentioned in topic B occur when you have the default WordPress theme active and all plugins other than ours deactivated? Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out. Please include your System Information as a private reply.

Once I have the results I’ll have a better idea on how to further proceed. Thanks and have a pleasant rest of your weekend!

    Hello,

As Cliff mentioned in his response, this is not a known issue. To confirm you are experiencing a bug, please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you learn. This is a required step to continue receiving support. Include your System Information as a private reply.

Please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend!

To ensure you are running the latest versions, please send your System Information as a private reply.

As previously mentioned, this issue was resolved in the most recent version released, so if you have not, please update to version 4.4.1.1 then review the Testing for conflicts guide to ensure you’re not experiencing a theme and/or plugin conflict.

Lastly, please make sure WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file. Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the β€˜Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.

Thanks and have a great rest of the weekend πŸ™‚

@Chris, thank you for the update and I’m happy to hear the issue is no longer occurring on your site πŸ™‚

@Dan, as I mentioned in my last response, the issue with default WordPress comments displaying has been resolved in Community Events 4.4.1. Have you updated to version 4.4.1? If so, does the issue with comments occur when you have the default WordPress theme active and all plugins (including Disqus) deactivated other than ours? Again, please make sure you’re using the latest versions of all of our plugins, then review the Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what the status is with the WordPress comments.

Please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article if you have not already. It is clearly stated:

Modern Tribe Inc. plugin support covers help with setting up the latest version of the product and direction on how to use the latest version of the product as advertised. Our support service does not cover help with theme or plugin customization beyond the advertised features (see examples of support vs customization below), nor does it cover help on sites that are heavily customized or in situations where the core plugin files have been modified. Please note that we cannot provide support to users who refuse to follow our troubleshooting steps.

If a user finds a bug in our code, we will ticket it to be fixed in an upcoming maintenance release. We have a regular release cycle for bug fixes, but we can not guarantee nor can we commit to a timeframe for a specific fix. We do our best to update threads when a fix is coming soon.

Additionally, beneath the Plugin Customization Examples (Not Supported), one of the bullet points states:

β€œI would like to integrate the plugin with a third party plugin, theme or service.”

This fits the description of what you’re asking me to accommodate. I did not create these rules, so if you’d prefer to speak with an upper-level director within Modern Tribe I’ll gladly loop them in. Unfortunately you are not within the 30-day window for a refund or I would offer that as an option. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed and have a pleasant rest of your weekend.

    Hello again, Russel!

The best way to customize the tickets to your liking is by creating and saving a custom template as explained in our Themer’s Guide. We’re fairly limited on supporting customization requests, but if you get caught up along the way, feel free to reply back with any questions you have and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

    Thanks and take care!

    Hey Russell πŸ™‚

I hope you’re having a great weekend thus far! The zip/postal code meta is _VenueZip. If you need additional information, you can view the entire Events Calendar PRO WordPress post meta data.

Please let me know if you’re able to add the zip code into the ticket and have a great rest of your weekend. Cheers!

    Hey Justine πŸ™‚

If you visit Events > Settings > Licenses, do you see a “Valid Key! Expires on 2017-11-29” message beneath the Event Aggregator license key field?

Can you also check to see if the issue persists after reverting back to the default WordPress theme and deactivating all plugins other than ours? Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you find out.

Have a pleasant rest of your weekend. Cheers!

    Hi Kathy,

Event Aggregator is a feature “baked into” The Events Calendar and without having a valid license entered into the Event Aggregator license key field, that feature is not “active”.

With that said, the first step in troubleshooting is reviewing the Testing for conflicts guide. I understand everything was working prior to updating, but it is still the first and a required step to continue receiving support.

Please let me know what you find out and have a pleasant rest of your weekend. Cheers!

    Hey Dave,

The best way to alter the emails is a template override. Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks and have a pleasant rest of the weekend. Cheers!

    Hi Edward,

At this time, the only way to delete events from your site is to do so manually. We have a feature report logged aimed to enable to option to delete events from your WordPress site once they’ve been deleted from the source. I’ll include this forum thread to the log report which helps increase attention on the matter, but I don’t have a concrete date when it will be available. Please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information.

Does the duplicate event issue occur when you have the default WordPress theme and only our plugins active? Please review our Testing for conflicts guide and let me know what you learn.

Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

    Miquel,

I hope you are having a great weekend thus far! Displaying a link/button to purchase tickets in list view has never been a default feature and would require a little customization to make it happen.

Our Themer’s Guide is the best way to create and save customizations. I found this snippet which might help, though I didn’t test it myself.

You’ll have to handle customizations yourself. For what is covered in the support forums, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article.

If you get caught up along the way, feel free to reply back with any specific questions you have and I’ll do my best to accommodate. Lastly, we see this request a lot, so please take a moment and upvote/submit the request to our UserVoice Feature Ideas page.

Thanks and have a pleasant rest of your weekend. Cheers!

    Hi Mary Kay,

I hope you’re having a great weekend! We have a feature report logged resembling what you’ve described, so I’ve added this forum thread to the ticket which helps expedite the process of getting a fix included in an upcoming release. I don’t have a precise date when it will be available, but please stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more information. Thanks again and let me know if you’ve got any additional questions or comments. Cheers!

    Hey Lee,

I took a look at the report you’re referring to and it appears it’s been closed, meaning a fix was included in a recent release. I’m also not seeing it on my test installation which has the most recent versions installed. Are you running the latest versions of TEC and PRO?

Let me know and we’ll continue investigating. Thanks and have a great rest of your weekend!

    Hey Eric,

I hope you’re having a great weekend thus far! This is a customization you’ll need to take on yourself. It will most likely require more than CSS, so please review our Themer’s Guide as it’s a great starting point for these types of customizations.

If you’re unable to tackle to feature yourself, you may want to look into hiring a professional. We have a list of non-affiliated customizers, though there are plenty of avenues for finding a reputable developer.

Lastly, I see the validity in your request, so please take a moment and submit it to our UserVoice Feature Ideas page.

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at this time and best of luck. Cheers!
