    Hey Jonathan,

Can you test with some dummy accounts set at different roles and confirm that?

    Hey Hugo,

It sounds like there is some kind of js conflict in play. I’m unfortunately unable to help as I don’t have access to your site and we’re not permitted to log into customer sites.

Again, I apologize I can do more for you at this time and thank you for understanding. Have a good Thursday.

    Hello and welcome back 🙂

I’d be happy to help you out.

If you visit our demo site, you can see the feature to select multiple categories (like venues) is already implemented. Unless I’m mistaken, your site should have the same functionality. Would you mind reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide and sending over your System Information as a private reply?

Thank you for choosing PRO and have a wonderful day.

    Hi and welcome back 🙂

That seems like some strange behavior, so I’d be happy to investigate with you. I checked our logged bug reports but didn’t see any bug relating to the issue you’re experiencing. Additionally, I’m able to edit my Application Key field in Events > Add-Ons APIS > Eventbrite on my local test environment.

I see you checked “Yes” to reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all other plugins other than our as recommended in our Testing for conflicts guide, but can you please confirm this?

Also, send over your System Information as a private reply if possible.

Thank you again for reaching out and have a great upcoming weekend 🙂

    Hey Jason,

Welcome to the forums and thank you for choosing PRO 🙂

You’ll first need to review our Testing for conflicts guide to identify the source of conflict. Unfortunately, theme support/customization requests are a little outside the scope we’re able to cover.

If you’re unfamiliar with the “Inspect” tool, this YouTube Video gives a good explanation on how to identify errors.

You also may want to try contacting the theme author to see if they have any insight to the issue. Again, I wish I was able to be of more help and have a great upcoming weekend.

Hello and thanks for choosing PRO 🙂

While theme customization/support is unfortunately out of our hands, I would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. We do have a snippet that may achieve what you seek. Please try adding the code to the bottom of your theme’s functions.php file.

If that doesn’t work, your next best shot would be a template override as outlined in our Themer’s Guide. I wish we were able to provide more support and wish you the best of luck.

Thanks again for choosing PRO and have a great remainder of your day.

    Hey Joanna,

Thank you for reaching out 🙂

If you wouldn’t mind, can you please review our Testing for conflicts to ensure you’re not experiencing a theme and/or plugin conflict? In the mean time, I’ll do some research and see if there are any logged bugs similar to what you’re experiencing. Report back with your findings and we’ll take it from there.

Thanks again and I look forward to resolving this issue with you. Have a great rest of the day!

Hi and thank you for posting,

Can you send over your System Information as a private reply?

We have a bug logged focused on improving how the plugin handles large imports. I’ve attached this thread to the bug report for the developers to reference when working towards a resolution.

Thanks again for reaching out and have a great rest of the day.

    Welcome back,

Have you measured other metrics to see if your traffic has actually decreased from these errors? More specifically, has your search engine traffic gone down since you saw the email come through?

This is another good KB resource on how to go about Fixing HTTP 404 errors.

Let me know if it helps 🙂

    Hello and welcome back,

Can you provide any more information about the issue? Does it occur in every view? And I just want to confirm, have you reviewed our Testing for conflicts to rule out a theme/plugin conflict? Also, can you send over your System Information as a private reply?

Thank you for posting and I look forward to resolving the issue. Have a great day 🙂

    Hey Jonathan,

Thank you for getting back to me. I attempted to add an event, including selecting multiple categories and adding a new venue. Everything went well and I was given the ‘Event Submitted’ confirmation text as expected. Please let me know if you saw an event come through titled ‘Tribe Testing’ and we’ll go from there.

Thanks again and have a great rest of the day.

Hi and thank you for the response,

I’d recommend trying Easy WP SMTP to help ensure your emails are delivered.

I attempted to submit an event but experienced the error notice described in your original post. Unfortunately, without the ability to replicate the issue on my test environment and no logged bug reports of users experiencing similar issues, there’s not much more I can do at this point.

Best of luck narrowing down the exact source of conflict. It doesn’t hurt to run through the Testing for conflicts to see if you can find the culprit.

Thanks for understanding and have a great upcoming weekend.

    Hey Mary,

Welcome back. Try entering a smaller numbers in the Clean up recurring events after and Create recurring events in advance for settings found in Events > Settings > General.

To delete the existing events, try a plugin such as Bulk Delete from the WP repository. Keep me updated with your progress and have a great rest of you Wednesday.

    Hey kortris,

There isn’t exactly a “problem” as we don’t have a built-in feature or setting to show/hide the ‘+ Google Map’ text seen in certain views, including list view.

You can either remove it completely via a template override (instructions are in our Themer’s Guide) or you can hide it via CSS. There are no other alternatives at this time.

You could visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit it as a request if it hasn’t been already.

Thanks for working with me on the issue and have a good day 🙂

    Hey Jonathan,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for the descriptive post. I’d be happy to help look into this issue.

I just did a quick check on our logged bug reports and don’t see anything relating to the issue you’re describing. I’ve also tested my submit event form and was able to successfully select category boxes in addition to adding new venues.

I visited your site’s submit event page. Would you mind temporarily allowing public submissions so I can take a look at the form?

Thanks again for reaching out and have a good rest of the day 🙂
