Event Feed

Hi We are using this theme http://ichthys.modeltheme.com/homepage3/ for our website.

There is a event feed on the homepage which we have replicated on our website: http://newlifecom.glance.ca

Current;y, the order of events displayed is based on published date. You will see past events and every instance of the next recurring event displayed in the feed. We spoke to the theme developer and they say we need to speak with Modern Tribe about making the changes to the plug in in order to meet our needs.

We Need
The event feed needs to display the upcoming event. We don’t want to display any past events. We have recurring events and daily events. So our feed will be updating daily.

Our Question:

How do we pull this off?

While theme customization/support is unfortunately out of our hands, I would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. We do have a snippet that may achieve what you seek. Please try adding the code to the bottom of your theme’s functions.php file.

If that doesn’t work, your next best shot would be a template override as outlined in our Themer’s Guide. I wish we were able to provide more support and wish you the best of luck.
