ParticipantHey Charity,
By default, yes, you simply append /feed to your events URL and it’s an RSS feed.
So, if your site’s example.com/events, then go to example.com/events/feed and there’s an RSS feed there. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Samantha,
Thank you for reaching out!
Unfortunately our plugins do not provide the “payment for event submission” functionality.
As for this:
Is there a possibility to approve events before they are submitted by a vendor or event organizer?
This is possible. To do this, you just ensure that the default post status for community submission is “Draft” or even “Pending Review”—then, no events are published upon submission. You have to manually approve the submissions for them to publish.

GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Nosko,
Thank you for clarifying this!
• That “register for this event” link is not anything we add to our plugin itself. It seems to be coming from the theme.
• We do not support versions of our plugin included in themes, because that is a non-standard practice that WordPress advises very strongly against.
I would recommend reaching out to the theme authors for some support on this.
Sorry to disappoint! But there’s just not much insight we can offer on that registration feature because we do not make it.
Best of luck with your project!

ParticipantThank you for confirming.
Can you share a screenshot of your site’s Permalinks page? That same Settings → Permalinks page from earlier.
You can do so by uploading the screenshot to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.
Include as much of the full screen as possible—I will check it out and see how things look.
Thank you!

ParticipantGlad to hear it!

ParticipantThank you for the follow-up, @Barback. Let me know how updating to 4.1.1 goes!
For anyone else in this thread:
Please update The Events Calendar and ALL of its add-ons on your site (like the ticketing plugins, Events Calendar Pro, etc.) to version 4.1.1.IF issues persist, please do not post in this thread; open a new thread with your website’s “System Information” and we will help out more efficiently there.
Here’s how to share system information → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Cheers!

ParticipantThank you @Neil,
1. Can you confirm that you are changing the stock in that specific location I mentioned in my last reply?
The stock field in the “tickets” metabox? It’s in the screenshot I shared above.
I just want to be certain I know how you are “changing the stock level” because I do not get the behavior you describe.
2. Does the price change in the admin edit screen for that event, too? Or only on the front-end?
Thank you,

ParticipantThank you for the followup!
What you wrote here is interesting and worth investigating for sure:
Once JetPack is connected the problems show up.
In the meantime, I’m wondering if you can confirm that when you said you updated all TEC plugins, do you mean that all of your plugins are now at version 4.1.1?
If not, can you update to 4.1.1 for The Events Calendar and all of its add-on plugins? We published that update yesterday and it’s got a bunch of fixes in it; it could make a difference here….
I will start exploring the Jetpack compatibility issues in the meantime.
Thank you!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantI appreciate this information!
Since your plugins are up-to-date, this could be a bug with our code; however, I also know that we let the eCommerce plugin itself, WooCommerce, handle stock. So this behavior may be the “default”/correct behavior according to the plugin.
I will investigate this and report back about the nature of that behavior.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @alpay,
I”m sorry, we cannot skype or provide phone support. I would recommend reporting these issues to the FlexSlider support team and/or to your theme developer.
The problem appears to be that your FlexSlider integration is grabbing the wrong post IDs and such for its slider construction….
I’m sorry to disappoint, @alpay!

ParticipantThanks for your patience with this, Tony! Keep an eye on this thread and/or http://theeventscalendar.com/blog.
Stay tuned,

ParticipantThank you for posting this!
Since your plugin versions are up-to-date, your issues sound like a theme and/or plugin code conflict issues.
To help investigate this, I would recommend doing all of the steps here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After EACH STEP check out the issues you reported and see if there is any change in behavior.
Cheers!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantDoes this happen with EVERY recurring event you try to make on your site? Or just this specific event series?
Thank you for your patience! We have yet to recreate this issue but I am still working on investigating this.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantSpeaking of closing threads, this thread has not been updated by its author in a number of weeks so I will close this thread for now.
@Audrey, if you ensure that you are using version 4.1.1 of The Events Calendar and any add-on for it on your site, but still have issues, open a new thread here and we’ll help out!
Be sure to post your system information in that new thread if you make it. Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Boel,
Thanks for posting.
You’re using out-of-date versions of the software; The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro are both at version 4.1.1.
Can you please update the versions of both pieces of software on your site, and then open a NEW thread on these forums describing your specific issues? We’ll help out with your specific thread because there might be a different cause to your issue and having separate threads will help us keep things organized.
Cheers!
